Well this is the other issue as well. I simply don't believe that after being dropped for the first time under Goodwins reign that he simply got no direction or feedback. I too think that's nonsense. This kind of [censored] happened back in the Neeld days. Harmes would have been given some feedback on what he needs to work. One of Goodwins strengths is also putting an arm around a shoulder and helping them guide their way out of form slumps. We've seen many of times him doing this with Weideman, Brayshaw, Petracca in the past. Harmes will get out of this and i am sure Goodwin is right beside him helping him along the way.

Harmes finds out on a Friday morning that he's being dropped, sends out a bunch of texts to mates back in Melbourne that he's not happy with Goodwins direction, that circulates everywhere which then gets in the hands of LN. How this leaks in such a short space of time especially around the sensitivity with Goodwin is not giving good direction is bizarre. What gets me @Bitter but optimistic is how this is leaking from a hub. I get it if we're still in melbourne but its not the case. This kind of stuff should not be leaking onto a domain public. Either Harmes isn't bright up stairs or someone within the club is being a snitch..

Is this legit? How does this information exactly get leaked from within the inner sanctum 8 hours after team selection? Something doesn't add up...

Look, on talent alone I'd rather him on a wing then Vandenberg or Jones. But he's on a hefty contract at North and contract for couple of years? In fairness Spirit those names you raised are a bit cringe to be honest. Mason Wood for instance is rubbish. Norf supporters will tell you he is a spud. He tested the market last year and got bo bites. In 5 games this years he's averaged 8 disposals per game.... You want Hunt traded, only to then bring in a very soft an average footballer? Don't understand your logic here. The glaring fact is he can't even get a game in one of the worst teams of the year. Willem Drew is plain and simple and inside mid. Hes someone else who's had a lot of injury issues and hasn't even played a game this year? Who does he get a game in front of Oliver, Petracca, Viney, Brayshaw? again, he's not a need at all and just adds an unbalance to our mid bringing in someone like him. Cummings I don't rate at all. Only played 5 games in 4 years.. depth at best. Only one I would look at is definitely Sinclair. 25 years at 92 games so he fits that demographic perfectly. Can play wing and across half back. Adds experience and run. Hoping we're looking at him closely. For me I hope we are looking at Perryman and potentially Xavier O'Halloran. I was a hupe wrap for XOH in his draft year. Plays very similar to Shaun Higgins.

Nah not too sure mate. Had a relative who played at the suns and retired last year. Remember he pointed out Solomon as one of the best blokes he's met in footy. Didn't take much notice at the time, only pricked up upon hearing the latest news.

No one other club is going to trade for Smith when they can just pick up a delisted free agent. Even if he asks for trade, no one is going to come banging down the door. Billy Stretch and JKH also asked to look at trade options last year and both barely got a nibble. And both made far more impact then Smith. In regards to Baker, I am fan and in the boat that he needs to start getting games. Goodwin needs to stop this idea of Vandenberg being a winger because its not working. Hunter and their outside mids exposed him on the weekend. Hate to think what Hill will do..

I wanted him to E. I saw great potential when I saw his VFL games last year. I just don't understand why a thread from last year needs to be brought up again? I'm sure it doesn't you or I any comfort at all? Yeah it hurts to see him play well but people just need to get over it and move on. I have hopes that Pickett and Bedford can be our specialist small forwards for us moving forward.

Played his best footy in the 2nd half of 2018 when Viney wasn't there. So yes I'd take Viney out who imo upsets our midfield mix. The fact Goodwin has even caught onto this shows why he hasn't improved as a coach. Its also being smart in using your midfield mix. Its no coincidence that we got our run on back in the back half of 2018 due to the tagging efforts of Harmes. Not only was he shutting down some of the best names in the league, he was going out and getting the pill himself. We've taken the biggest strength we had in our side and turned into [censored].
