Look, on talent alone I'd rather him on a wing then Vandenberg or Jones. But he's on a hefty contract at North and contract for couple of years? We'd be paying half that off which is what you don't want. If he was OOC then I would be a yes for dirt cheap. I have also heard his attitude is pretty [censored] poor. If Goodwin got rid of Jack Watts because of that then no chance Polec comes to the dees.

In fairness Spirit those names you raised are a bit cringe to be honest. Mason Wood for instance is rubbish. Norf supporters will tell you he is a spud. He tested the market last year and got bo bites. In 5 games this years he's averaged 8 disposals per game.... You want Hunt traded, only to then bring in a very soft an average footballer? Don't understand your logic here. The glaring fact is he can't even get a game in one of the worst teams of the year. Willem Drew is plain and simple and inside mid. Hes someone else who's had a lot of injury issues and hasn't even played a game this year? Who does he get a game in front of Oliver, Petracca, Viney, Brayshaw? again, he's not a need at all and just adds an unbalance to our mid bringing in someone like him. Cummings I don't rate at all. Only played 5 games in 4 years.. depth at best. Only one I would look at is definitely Sinclair. 25 years at 92 games so he fits that demographic perfectly. Can play wing and across half back. Adds experience and run. Hoping we're looking at him closely. For me I hope we are looking at Perryman and potentially Xavier O'Halloran. I was a hupe wrap for XOH in his draft year. Plays very similar to Shaun Higgins.

Nah not too sure mate. Had a relative who played at the suns and retired last year. Remember he pointed out Solomon as one of the best blokes he's met in footy. Didn't take much notice at the time, only pricked up upon hearing the latest news.

No one other club is going to trade for Smith when they can just pick up a delisted free agent. Even if he asks for trade, no one is going to come banging down the door. Billy Stretch and JKH also asked to look at trade options last year and both barely got a nibble. And both made far more impact then Smith. In regards to Baker, I am fan and in the boat that he needs to start getting games. Goodwin needs to stop this idea of Vandenberg being a winger because its not working. Hunter and their outside mids exposed him on the weekend. Hate to think what Hill will do..

I wanted him to E. I saw great potential when I saw his VFL games last year. I just don't understand why a thread from last year needs to be brought up again? I'm sure it doesn't you or I any comfort at all? Yeah it hurts to see him play well but people just need to get over it and move on. I have hopes that Pickett and Bedford can be our specialist small forwards for us moving forward.

Played his best footy in the 2nd half of 2018 when Viney wasn't there. So yes I'd take Viney out who imo upsets our midfield mix. The fact Goodwin has even caught onto this shows why he hasn't improved as a coach. Its also being smart in using your midfield mix. Its no coincidence that we got our run on back in the back half of 2018 due to the tagging efforts of Harmes. Not only was he shutting down some of the best names in the league, he was going out and getting the pill himself. We've taken the biggest strength we had in our side and turned into [censored].

Its still a massive need. Vanders was exposed badly today by Hunter. He was not by himself. We have so many one paced plodders like Vanders, Jones, Sparrow, Tomlinson who we are having to run through the wings because we have nothing else on offer. When you're playing those guys on the outside, good teams expose you. Where is Oska Baker at? I really like his work last year, and much rather him or Hunt on a wing then a Vanders/Jones.

This will be up there as one of the strangest and bizarre coaching moves in my time supporting this club. A genuine gun midfielder when on song, and is yet being wasted away in another position where he's barely fired a shot for majority of the year.

I named 3 forwars who were simply poor. Yes Hannan and Spargo were not much better. It's highly disappointing how easy their backs were able to waltze out of their backing with zero pressure. Our mids don't get a free ride either. Not only did they fail to apply any pressure, but failed once again to capitalise on ruckman dominance. How is this not been rectified after so many weeks?? Brayshaw was poor, Viney is all about himself, bloke thinks he Jona Lomu half the time. Oliver too was poor and Petracca butchered at times. Lever, May and Tomlinson to a degree were our best.

Signed a 5 year deal last year didn't he? That's a heft contract to break.
