  1. He was doing some coaching on the weekend with Casey also which is a great effort.
  2. Another year goes by where Garry Lyon is once again shafted.
  3. Dayne Beams officially ruled out with hip injury.
  4. Actually keen to see these video's now...
  5. Think you missed the sarcasm meter there Old..
  6. Would be currently winning pur best and fairest amd deservedly too.
  7. Well obviously.. because he kept Oliver to 2 handballs in the 3rd quarter and 11 for the 2nd half.
  8. I honestly feel for Bolton, and from reports he had a good relationship with the players. Unfortunately when it came to game day performance they just could not translate that into a winning performance. Bolton will get snapped up next year. Interestingly Cameron Bruce was one of his assistant coaches this year and was rated extremely highly by Clarkson. Wonder what happens to him also.
  9. The jungle drums are beating of the prospect that Bolton might get the chop. While i have always felt that Bolton was the right man for the job coming from the Hawthorn environment, i am bewildered that the blow torch is not on their list manager SOS. Right now they would be laughing with pick 1 in their pockets sewn up, but traded it during the draft period to adelaide who currently have pick 1 now. Over the years SOS hes brought in VFL standard players to fill in list position. The names of Jarrod Pickett, Rhys Palmer, Alex Fasolo, Cam O' Shea, liam Sumner, Aaron Mullett, Andrew Phillips, Tom Bugg, Matt Shaw, Daniel Gorringe, Sam Kerridge, Billy Smedts, Kristian Jacksh, Hugh Goddard and Matt Kennedy are just some of the names that he has stockpiled with and that have been unsuccessful. With those names that he has bought in surely he has to come under the microscope?
  10. There was definitely some real glimpses of his talent that he showed during the finals on display saturday night thatsfor sure. I also thought that he lookee bigger aroundthe upper body which probably means he's been doing extra weight sessions to combat the bigger gorilla defenders.
  11. Exactly right, Said a page back that with our season officially over i would now switch into development mode and just play Weideman for the rest of the year. Just get games into him. If he plays for the rest of the year that will take him into 2020 with 38 games meaning he will hit that 50 game mark next year. I think next year Weid will go up a level and become a permanent 22 in our side.
  12. In fairness to Oliver Pyke put a hard tag on him after half time. He's coming into new territory this year with the tags and something he will just have to be accustomed too. This is where i expect someone like Brayshaw to really grab the game by the throat and display some of that explosive performance we saw the back end of last year.
  13. Careful Jnr.. apparently if you are too you harsh on Oscar you will have to 'lawyer' up for personal abuse.. ?‍♂️
  14. Was our training facilities an issue when we were 1 game off a Grand Final last year?
  15. But RBR he hasn't adjusted to our zone even when we started it from the Paul Ross transition to Goodwin. Its only the past 2 years that the coaching staff have realised this and gone after May, Lever and even Hore to an extent because of their ability to zone off and intercept well. I look at someone like Marty Hore who has adjusted seamlessly like a 100 game veteran with his intercept marking and zoning off to give others a chop out. He is s beauty and have loved watching his development ever since he came back into the Sydney game after an ordinary VFL game.
  16. Hasn't this been the theme of topics on demonland this year? There are enough threads on our poor kicking for goal and also our connection between mid and forward. Its our year in a nutshell. In regards to the poster blaming Oscar for the loss then yes i agres with you that we shouldn't be blaming an individual on last night. I dont believe in individuals costing teams games. Its what goes on in that 120 minutes from a whole team perspective. Again.. this is not what this thread is about ?‍♂️
  17. IN: May, Salem, Hore OUTS: Wagner, Spargo, Oscar May, Salem and Hore come in and add much needed experience and intercept marking down back along with Salem who will give us much needed drive and composure. I'm still in the camp that they won't risk Lever after limited match fitness. In fact i dont think he even trained last week? Which our season officially over, it is now time to just get games into Weideman. Their were glimpses last night that showed the Weideman of old from last year finals campaign. We need to go into next year knowing that Weideman will be nearing that 50 game mark but also start to build a working relationship with McDonald. I put Mitch Hannan in the same boat, lets just get him AFL match fit because we have seen what he is capable of and adds such a whole new dimension to our forward line with his speed and tackling pressure. I know some were anti JKH last night, but i thought for someone in his 2nd game of footy on the back of 9 weeks off he was qood in patches, he was rusty at times but was also able to lay 6 tackles. In fact he topped our tackle count along with Jack Viney.
  18. Bahahah this has to be taking the [censored]? Lawyering up for what exactly? Saying that he is an ordinary footballer who wont be playing senior football once May and Lever are in? [censored] spare me.. Have i mentioned once he is the sole reason we havr lost games? No. We lost last night because out inability to take our opportunities in front of goal. This is a football forum and i dont and never have rated Oscar. He has such low football IQ and has not given me any thought that he has improved as each year goes by. Slow, weak and panics when left one on one as shown against Jenkins when he got done numerous times for holding the man. At one stage he was manned against the 172cm Betts and yet he chose to spoil instead of trying to out mark him using his 196cm 100kg frame.
  19. Mate, no one on here has blamed him for any of our other losses.. missing the point entirely again! Even if we had kicked better and won i still would have started this thread.
  20. Ohh give me a [censored] spell! We continue to make excuses for his continuel shitful performance. Does Frost get the same excuse even though he did thr job On Walker? Is it also our mids fault that when it came to one on one contest he gave away at least 3 free kick for holding on to the man? Pathetic excuse putting blame on our mids (who actually did their job on the night) for someone else's terrible performance. He'll be dropped next week. Plain and simple.
  21. This thread is in no way dedicated to Oscar costing us the game. Completely missing the point. The thread is dedicated to him being simply a terrible footballer and hopefully the last we see of him this year once May and Lever are in.
  22. Picket, you have been on record saying the only level of footy you have played at is suburban footy for the amature league. Now all of a sudden your a former under 19 MFC player? Yeah nah something smell fishy there...
  23. CLEARLY didnt not watch tonights game. he is a spud and will be making his way out for Steven May. There is nothing tonight that justify any sense of support whatsoever. He was pathetic.
  24. Not sure why my intial thread got taken down but, so I'll keep this simple. Probably one of the worst AFL players going around and its time we see the last of this potato. With May coming in next week i expect tonight we'll be the last we'll see him in a red and blue jumper.. ever!
