  1. I love it even more when other clubs aspire to be like us..
  2. Watching the Hawthorn and North game reminder me so much of 2009 Melbourne when we would battle other bottom 4 teams. Game littered with skill errors, but was fast and exciting at times.
  3. Don't worry, I too have been telling my mates how [censored] their teams are. I'm arrogant AF now.
  4. Try again.
  5. I don't rate either Richmond or Hawthorn compared to Brisbane who did it the absolute hard way. Only thing that stopped them from getting 4 flags in a row was the significant [censored] up by the AFL with the preliminary final travel travesty.
  6. What lol Adelaide were 2 goals up at quarter time and only 2 goals down at at half time. They were absolutely right in the game going into the 3rd quarter. The GWS game is absolutely no different to the Hawthorn's 2014 gran final. Both games were were over at quarter time. All Hawthorn's grand finals the opposition were pretty much done in the first quarter.
  7. You'd think so.. But Gil doesn't operate that way.
  8. Absolutely they did. Again, not sure if you're backing up your argument all that well. I've highlighted your this part in particular. 2013 - they won by 15 points against Freo who never looked like winning on the day. The first half Fremantle kicked a total of 1.6 which was horrible display on the big stage. 2014 - Hawthorn smashed Sydney by 74 points. Folded like a beach chair as you say. 2015 - flogged West Coast by 46 points. Game was pretty much over in the first quarter after Hawthorn kicked 5 goals straight to West Coast 1.3. At 3 quarter time Hawthorn were in front by 50 points. West Coast absolutely folded and were cooked 25 minutes into the first quarter. Realistically how is this any different to Richmond?
  9. Laurie is a forward, not s defender.
  10. Are my eyes deceiving me or is that Duxy with a Saints scarf on....
  11. All I saw tonight was two bottom 6 clubs go at it. Skills and clangers were absolutely horrific. Dean Kent may have played his last game. That was an absolute shocker.
  12. Exactly.. they had an easy run more then anyone. Brisbane did it harder then both. Should have had 4 in a row had the AFL not [censored] them over with the travel. Their dynasty [censored] all over Hawthorn and Richmond.
  13. How was Hawthorn any better then Richmond if you say that Richmond won theirs against interstate teams? Hawthorn won all their premierships against interstate teams.
  14. Wow didn't see that coming with him being sacked!
  15. I was shaky on him definitely even though he was quite good against Carlton and North. Even when Lever is fit and ready to its looking like it will be Tomlinson that makes way and not Smith.

Minor procedure and has escaped significant damage. Great news.
  17. Why? He's doing a really good job down back. You take him out of our backline and it leaves another significant hole.
  18. Riley Beveridge on AFL.com made note last week that Taj was potentially in line for an early season debut. I need to go back and find it but obviously seems to think that he's put in some really good pre season form to be in some consideration.
  19. Underwhelming in what? Are we talking about his pre season in general, or practise game? Reports was he was close to BOG in the Carlton VFL game and was a bit of a ball magnet. He was also named emergency Wednesday which puts him right in the selection frame. My guess is that It would have been a toss of a coin for the sub between him and Bedford.
  20. If Harmes has another poor game then Dunstan deserves an opportunity. Sparrow also didn't do much on the night and was caught out a few times around stoppages, but he's obviously highly rated amongst the coaching staff. He was brought in for this exact reason to make sure our midfielders aren't getting complacent. I'd like to see him get an opportunity very soon.
  21. I thought Harmes was easily worst on ground until 10 mins to go in the last quarter. He cannot afford to have another game like that if Luke Dunstan is breathing down his neck.
  22. Go Richmond
  23. With Walsh to come back into their midfield brigade, unfortunately i think Carlton could easily finish top 6. They're building a very good list and the extra midfield depth has certainly helped. Playing group look rejuvenated under Voss and I think they were a lot better defensively then I've seen them the past couple of years. If Curnow stays injury free he could be an X factor for the blues as he continues to build with each game. Still spewing we missed out on Cerra...
