  1. I'm a big wrap for Phoenix Foster of Norwood in the SANFL if we're looking towards key forward. I rate him more highly then Keeler and Jefferson. He's got the physical attributes and frame to becoming a pretty solid key forward in the same mould as a Nick Larkey or Mitch Lewis. He's also quite athletic in terms of his ability to chop out in the ruck as per his impressive performance against the Allies when Harry Barnett was a late withdrawal. He controlled the ruck and stoppages really well. Recruiters would have been impressed knowing he's added another string to his bow. He's one I'm absolutely hoping we take in the 30's.
  2. Not sold on Keeler to be honest. I see too much of Casey Sibosado if some can remember a while back. I don't see too many defensive or 2nd efforts. Jackson had that and was of of his biggest strengths. I also have heard that his fitness and work ethic can be a bit of a concern and may need some work. I put Jefferson in the same bracket.
  3. Amazing that we haven't drafted a player since his departure that comes remotely close to his skill level and talent. His ability to bullet low flat 40m passes on the chest of Neita was something you could never get enough of. Can you imagine how incredible Travis would be in today's line up!? Exactly the type of player that we're lacking.
  4. I have had a few chats with Beelz through inbox and have asked this exact question why he doesn't post anymore, but he's very silent on this. Rhino, well he can just keep to reacting and being silent..
  5. I remember Jazza. @markc was another well known Dland poster who we unfortunately lost to illness. Makes you wonder who else have passed without us even knowing.
  6. I legitimately have no idea who she is.
  7. Anyone give a copy and paste job or summary to this link thanks. Latest word: Every draft prospect your club could snare
  8. I think the loss of Mitchell and 'O Meara has left a significant hole on their midfield depth I expect if they'll seriously consider Jhye Clarke and Bailey Humphrey's or trade up to snare Wardlaw.
  9. What were Olisik and Elgt origins of name?
  10. Who you thinking goes to to the Hawks Jay?
  11. Geelong will pick one of Jhye Clark or Ollie Holland's with their first pick imo. Ollie boarded at Geelong Grammer and even trained with the Cats as part of their Academy duties. They're huge wraps on both kids. I think they'll lean more towards Clark he fits more into the Joel Selwood style with his manic footy style and elite stoppage work.
  12. I've always wondered, and still to this day trying to think the meaning behind @FlogDee name.
  13. His recovery is coming along well. Sought out some clubs regarding rehabilitation programs etc. Won't play next year though.
  14. From the games I watched him, i was really surprised we kept him on another year.
  15. I wouldn't hold Stack as a success story either. But weirdly enough you do? Yet he's been delisted for pretty much poor professionalism and worth ethic.
  16. What about our work with the Santa Teresa project that's been now successfully ongoing for 5 years through the work of our Aboriginal Liaison Officer Matthew Whelan who's done a power of work with not only our indigenous players but reconnecting past culture to our present day players. https://www.melbournefc.com.au/support-the-club/santa-teresa-oval-project Or what about our Reconciliation Plan where our reconciliation is to unite Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples with non-Indigenous people through the great game of AFL, to truly embrace history, culture and community. https://www.melbournefc.com.au/reconciliation-action-plan Or what about our football club becoming the first historical club in AFL history in rebranding our name to the Narrm Football Club throughout the year. https://www.melbournefc.com.au/indigenous#about Taking a chance on Stack? No different how's we've taken a chance on the likes of Harley Bennell a d Liam Jurrah when no one else wanted to take the risk. I think our football club celebrates our indigenous heritage far better then any club in the league and this is pretty evident. But that's just me personally.
  17. My understanding is that the club have had several interviews with Murray Bushranger product in Brayden George. They will be up the border over the next few weeks to interview a few Bushie lads as well some potential bush league smokies. Ollie Holland's another Murray product who boards at Geelong Grammer was also interviewed by the Dees during draft camp and were thoroughly impressed with his maturity and leadership which has been a trait of his since his was a young fella. I believe they'll conduct a few more interviews with Ollie over the next few weeks.
  18. How so?
  19. Just won a flag for Norwood. He's someone I'd actually easily have back in our AFL coaching ranks. Reckon he was pretty underrated.
  20. In all seriousness he's one player I'd be happily take a risk on. Kind of player that could easily become a Tyson Stengle like recruit with fresh environment and good solid father figures in Mark Williams and Matthew Whelan. One player I've always been impressed with and his 2019 year was very impressive for a first year.
  21. Yeah couldn't think or a worse player in Arts to put on a list as depth. Remember this game clearly. Would have rather kept Baker
  22. Too late..
  23. Not game to open that link
  24. I'd take him purely if he deletes his cringe Tik Tok account.
