  1. Rent free once again.
  2. Love how you've blocked me but still trying to throw a couple of haymakers. I'm literally living rent free in your head. The above post doesn't change the fact you really are a piece of [censored] stain of a human being and a genuine oxygen thief @WERRIDEE
  3. I honestly think the best thing for Jonesy if he were to get into coaching is to actually go to another club and start his apprenticeship there. Learn a whole new system and culture. He's been at this club for over 15 years and I think sometimes you can get a bit stale. I think going to a club lehere he can develop new skill set would be great for his development. Think of Adam Yze.
  4. Strange post. This isn't how footy clubs work. And to say that if We've really turned a new leaf we must keep him at the club at some capacity? Why do they need to be kept on to inspire younger players? Aren't Max Gawn, Petracca and Oliver not already doing that? We've treated Nathan with the absolute utmost respect better then any other club legend. We gifted him to 300 games even though there was a raging debate whether he should have even played this year or not The club has done the best it has for Nathan Jones. The best thing Nathan Jones can do right now for his family sake is maybe take 12 months off and just focus on his family. But that's my opinion.
  5. Yes let's just leave it up to the coaching staff Shaun.. Maybe do an article on 30 other blokes that deserve a chance and they'll say the exact same thing.
  6. A sad day for the footy club and also a day of celebration of a fine career. Thank you so much for all you have done Jonesy during some of the darkest times in this footy club. There are no fairytales in footy but I hope you're able to reflect on the contribution you've made in getting us there. From a different person I think now the club can now move on from all the Nathan Jones noise. Was starting to get a tad worried it was going to be a bit of a distraction, but once he made the decision to leave WA her made the right call for his family. The number 2 is a very sacred number at this footy club.
  7. While I'm sure Isaac maybe had a small "what if" type thought after the loss, he still has 3 premierships that he can hang his hat on.
  8. We went back to the hotel and had dinner with a few quite beers.
  9. Good. Make it all about them. Keep it low key for us. Was interesting seeing the footage of the doggies celebrating and carrying on after their win in the change rooms, whereas we kept it low key and went back to the hotel room with dinner and a few quite beers. You'd think it was the doggies who hadn't been in a grand final for 21 years...
  10. Fair chance it'll be a closed session. I did read that there will be an open training session on grand final week at Optus Stadium for fans to attend.
  11. Out of all the commentary channel 7 was by far the least exciting and dour as you described. Can't believe in this day of age the AFL grand final commentary team will be lead by James Brayshaw and Brian Taylor.
  12. Delete. Replied wrong person.
  13. He just looked cooked to me. Since he's back injury he looks he's got concrete boots on and can barely break out in a gallop. Just remember at the start of the pre season both Brown and Weideman were the preferred forward options over McDonald. In fact they definitely did prefer him as they initially were training McDonald up to be a wingman. Wasn't until both went down with injuries that this opened up the spot for him. If Weideman stays and is able to get through the summer unscathed and injury free then I think they'll prefer trial the Weideman and Brown combo. Problem with Weideman is that he's a man who's lost complete confidence in himself. I would trust a Mark Williams to assist him in regaining that confidence back.
  14. Would be shocked if we delisted him. At worse just offer him a 1 year deal. McDonald is pretty much cooked imo. Weideman certainly has an opportunity next year to cement that spot next to Brown.
  15. Yeah I had no idea how to do that lol..
  16. Seems like we are the theme of this week. Couple if interview that SEN have conducted so far. Todd Viney yesterday morning. Sam Stynes this morning. David Neitz on Dwayne Russell. This absolute ripper with Bob Spargo who is Charlie's grandpa. Have had the pleasure of meeting him as well. And Sharon Neal Bullen on Bob and Andy
  17. Exact feeling I got.
  18. Yes. Will be attending the BnF.
  19. Congrats Nath and Jerri. Amazing stuff. Get the feeling though that Jerri isn't particularly warm towards the footy club.
  20. Dr D, Olisik, @Elegt Take your pick.
  21. I just think she's been the pioneer and the face of the Melbourne footy club for AFLW and a big reason why we as a club do women's footy better then any club in the competition. She's a loyal servant and turned back offeres to join big clubs like Collingwood to stay with us. But Garry Lyon for me is the main one. People will have their opinions on Garry but I'm really excited that he's has been given this opportunity. Right now he he is the connection in Perth for past players and supporters right now. Only have to see him Friday night nearly choking back to see how much it means to him.
  22. It's a fantastic decision. Glad Lyon got the gig. Someone mentioned Daisey Peace. I didn't realise she was in WA. Wouldn't it be awesome if Lyon dragged Daisy alongside him to present the cup to Max. But this is indeed a great decision.
  23. Not only do we get to watch the Demons play on grand final day but we also get to see a future demon on display also.
