  1. Petracca in his press conference pretty much confirmed he rather Gawn be the solo ruck instead of bringing in the extra ruckman for Gawny to spend time up forward. Think that pretty much sums it up how the players must feel of the Gawn/Grundy situation.
  2. Anyone will do give a summary of today's session?
  3. My out of the box selection would be to play Salem in the Brayshaw role. He's had a quiet few weeks to the point where I'd drop him if we had a suitable replacement. But we don't. So this how I think we need to get him involved more into the game but utilising his skill set especially going inside 50. We know on his day he can be very creative and classy but him stagnated down back simply isn't working for us and we need to somehow get him involved in the game. Ball in hand he just sets us up well but because he's not getting enough of it it's effecting our ball movement from half back, so let's at least get him around the ball if need.
  4. Been playing up forward for Oakleigh is my information? Heard Watson's year at School level.has been absolutely through the roof.
  5. Anyone going today?
  6. MClean plays that perfect forward ruckman role. As Hickey is retiring, Grundy is his replacement.
  7. Why is Bailey Laurie under uncertain future when he's contracted for another year...
  8. Why the vomit emojo @The heart beats true Was my response too offensive to you.
  9. Either pick 21 or pick 29

    Love watching him play.
  12. Toby Bedford and Jesse Hogan would look great in our forward line...
  13. One quarter as a midfielder doesn't cut it for me. Especially when the opportunity opened up for him after the Brayshaw incident. We couldn't throw Rivers into the midfield role because he was playing a complete lock down role. This is why I'm still annoyed we didn't play the extra tall defender because then it created more pressure on the likes of Rivers who at one stage was locking down on McStay. If Brayshaw is going to miss some significant time or retire then once again it exposes us greatly. Can't just pretend we can rely on Petracca Oliver and Viney moving forward all the time. Someone eventually has to step up if that's Rivers and Bowey then the coaching staff to do transition them both into more midfield craft over the preseason. Even now the thought of Jordon now replacing Brayshaw is making me scared.
  14. This isn't the 80's mate.

I think I'm leaning towards this as well. Though, my biggest concern still is not addressing our midfield depth still.
  19. Amartey re-signed also.

There's no real Tom Lynch type in the draft but certainly O'Sullivan would be the May replacement. Sully is your typical country lad who's aggressive at the contest and tough one on one. He has the build to turn into a imposing key back in years to come but also has shown previously that he can swing forward and play as a genuine key forward. His skills for such a big fella is really impressive. Uses the footy really well and is composed down back.

Well I know from Murray Bushrangers connections and his dad (we won a flag together) that we've certainly spoken to O'Sullivan (Sully). But also do remember nearly 14 other clubs have spoken to him also. Don't be surprised if he jumps into top 10 calculations.
