  1. Had Jemma Rigoni signed with Collingwood ?
  2. Isn’t our intra club against North at Casey on Friday Feb 20 at 4.30 pm. Casey Demons are playing Richmond earlier & it’s a big fun/family day ?
  3. Members pay $5 …non members $20
  4. No but there is no way you get in the ground without a ticket so the joys of Ticketmaster it was
  5. I got tickets today …nightmare. I don’t know whether it has now been fixed but you could only access Ticketmaster on your laptop ..not your phone …
  6. Great read about the discussion of our under 22 yr brigade. Mentioned all of them really even those who we haven’t seen play too much. Very bullish about them & thinks they should be the basis of our next tilt. All positives there tempered by expectations. There were another 15 questions ..they do a very deep analysis of our whole team …it’s very well done. One question was re Petty going back & he was unequivocal in his support of Kings decision to send him there . One of the best decisions he feels. Will help the set up of May?/Lever etc & feels that by getting Miochek we can now do this. In all I felt it was very a positive analysis especially with our recruiting and younger players. Holds the same opinion as a lot of our posters… we have a lot of promise & have done a lot right & it depends on how our senior/younger players play as to where we will finish but future is bright
  7. Next Kalani White. Discussed how he is “heir apparent” to Max & has some super attributes but will take time. Max has to do it all for as long as he can ..get another AA blazer. Thinks Heath is a good pickup
  8. 6 basically covered the loss of Oliver & Trac. Whilst acknowledging they were our 2 best midfielders…the arrival of Rivers ..Langford & Windsor plus Viney will offer a diff look. Also said they were both dreadful with ball in hand so feels it’s a win/win situation..
  9. Sorry ..i realised a little late. I assume you can paraphrase the article ? I’ll post Question 6 and if It breaches anything I guess you’ll remove ?
  10. I agree with all of this. In fact I’m hoping King just puts the best player available any position on the field each week. He is a MFC player & deserves our support. The next weeks will show whether his body stands up but his experience is invaluable to our younger defenders.
  11. I guess I don’t believe established senior players with many preseasons behind them struggle with this as much as younger players. You just have to look at the Pies current injury list & they do have many senior players with Maynard just added who have missed or are missing big chucks of preseason but are still being touted as doing well. It won’t be long until we see how it all plays out ..
  12. So of our main senior players on the sidelines (& best 23) ..I’ll give you Viney & Melksham both well over 30 & I’d still say that Melksham is more likely to come in at some stage possibly not Viney. Other senior players e.g. Gawn & Miochek (who is now in full training) will def be in the team early rounds..Gawn is super fit & again at 34 he will have no problems once his finger is manageable. All players miss a week or 2 over preseason so I think we’re relatively healthy. The bonus is the preseason form of some of our senior players e.g. Lever & Salem. There may be plenty of reasons we may not do well (I’m a bit more positive) but I can’t see Viney & Melksham being one of the reasons.
  13. Fantastic…I will enjoy watching these many times..thank you
  14. In the match sim..it was on the website & YouTube ..it was Monday …I think JVR kicks to maybe Jefferson & Petty pulls up & does a little hop but it’s obvious he felt something. However he played the last few minutes so Ithought he was ok. However he has now missed the next 2 sessions so maybe it is something. It looked like his foot ..very easy to spot if you watch the footage
  15. At the moment & fingers crossed it’s a manageable injury list ..mostly short term. Preseason is “heart in mouth” stuff for supporters. As much as we are concerned about our injuries..imagine how hawks supporters feel with Will Day looking like he’s suffered a serious shoulder injury. It happens to all clubs..
  16. It’s the unknown isn’t it. We have no idea if the current AFL top midfielders will perform as they have ..we have no idea who will break out at each club & who will drop off. We are firmly in the “unknown”. With a lot of new high end talent & new “established older “ talent … Kingy’s job is to blend them in with our existing team & really who knows. This is what I am most excited for ..none of us will know how it comes together till the season proper. Right now we are one of 18 teams aspiring to make finals & we can be assured that will be the mindset of coaches & players & hopefully supporters .
  17. One thing I have enjoyed is more positive media and not the relentless “bagging” we endured over the preseasons..mainly referencing Oliver. As a supporter you were generally disillusioned by the time the season started…it was relentless. It was time for him & Melb to part ways (which incidentally he has stated in today’s newspaper article). I hope he turns his life around and wish him well ..Trac on the other hand …..
  18. Well I will respectfully disagree. After a conversation with an ex footballer ( who had a Lisfranc ) he explained the healing process you go through ..lot of work on balance..wobble boards etc but guess what “kicking” is not part of that process. According to him it’s a massive advantage when you’re not loading your foot with a heavy football. I’m def no expert but commonsense dictates that would be quite an obvious observation.
  19. 4 of us will def be there ..accom already booked but agree that a Sat or Sunday would have been so much better. Apparently we’re a very popular choice for Sunday games in season proper but score a Friday in the pre season , Go figure ..
  20. If there is any positive in this injury is that it was his left foot & he is a right footer. It won’t change the healing time but his kicking shouldn’t be impeded when he does come back.
  21. Well thank goodness you have put ..”the world to rights”, Nothing like a good dose of pessimism to suck the energy out of the optimism of our pre season track watchers
  22. Guerra …went right instead of left
  23. Pretty sure it’s why he was so emotional in our 2 finals. My thoughts are Geelong. Like the men it will be good to have a change whilst acknowledging everything he did. It would be good to see Shae Sloane get a crack
  24. I’m with you …we were incredibly outnumbered…the roars & booing from the Nth Supporters ..it was ear splitting
  25. I’m sorry …we could debate this for eternity but they are the Melbourne AFLW demons not the Casey Demons & if Nth ( not Blues..Pies..ESS ..Tigers) can get 6000..we can surely do better …
