  1. Shame we donโ€™t have a few more tall forwards available coz that Saints backline looks pretty weak
  2. I dunno maybe - but we get a bad rap for not turning up to games however I don't think North, St Kilda or Western Bulldogs are any different....even Carlton and Essendon have had puny crowds when they were on the bottom
  3. So much for St Kilda members booking out this game in a heartbeat - appears to be loads of GA tickets available
  4. Got tickets through a contact in the AFL members for this one...wasn't hard should be plenty available think
  5. Disaster for the club if he leaves unless we got the best trade of all time for him...even then....got to get that signature
  6. The biggest question is if he wants to go, why? If itโ€™s for success Carlton or Essendon arenโ€™t any guarantee to give it to him, the way theyโ€™ve gone the last 20 years youโ€™d say itโ€™s not different to staying with us...
  7. They were often well down in clearances compared to the oppo I remember it being a talking point many times
  8. Yze coming from Hawthorn they never cared about clearances much even when winning flags: could this be a different style of footy we saw for the first time yesterday?
  9. Weโ€™ve always had a small hard core supporter base who turns up every week and a larger fair weather base who wait until the team is going well...I donโ€™t think this will ever change
  10. Hard to win in rd1...we were scrappy but got the job done no point playing at your peak this early!
  11. Gut feel: I reckon we might get home by 10 points
  12. Certainly can't make excuses this week as the Dockers have more injuries than we do
  13. Here's one for the same thread on their board: - Apart from Fyfe and Mundy I haven't heard of any of their players
  14. If this is true they wont have a single tall up forward will have to play one of their defenders as a forward
  15. Good luck to JJ, I agree that we need to find more midfielders to rotate through
  16. I reckon his knee will require ongoing management but look at players like Nick Riewoldt and Andrew McLeod who played many seasons with "crook" knees. We just have to get it right.
  17. But where will theirs come from? Their forward line is probably even worse than our
  18. I havent sat there for a home game in over 20 years! And I had an email saying I could select zone 4 to sit near the Hassett room for the function but it never came up....oh well there for the footy not socialising
  19. Somehow Ive ended up in the Ponsford stand...for a home game as a Redlegs member...weird but whatever I dont mind the Ponsford
  20. Most commentators are boringly conservative just recycle last years top 8 with maybe 1 change...but no one really knows I still remember going into 2017 a lot of "experts" had Richmond in the bottom 6
  21. He seems like a much better motivator than Goody even from that 7 mins, even his call to arms for us supporters tops anything weโ€™ve heard for a while
  22. Roos obsession with inside mids got our list to where it is today he just kept drafting more and more of them and Goodwin has continued it....I see now Roos is at North they've gone back to Dom Tyson: he's stuck in 2005 era footy
  23. Youโ€™d imagine they will have to ply Fyfe forward for a large part of the game
  24. I do wonder how we can be rebuilding since 2015 (after 2 failed rebuilds) and still have so many holes in our list...
  25. Round 1 has got trailing by 30 at 3 qtr time only to mount a token comeback and lose by a goal written all over it...
