  1. Langdon has improved a lot for us too, at Freo he was a prolific runner and possession winner with a very dodgy kick, doubt anyone thought we would turn into the weapon he is now: big win for us
  2. North are struggling so badly they’ve only managed to kick over 50 points twice this season: amazing an AFL side could be so poor. 10 goal margin is a par score for us today
  3. Oppo clubs will be lining up to offer Weid a long contract if he can’t get in the AFL side for us
  4. The line is 57.5 points or something ridiculous if anyone was taking North it would be that not H2H
  5. Certainly not...had his chance and went to the filth
  6. Yep this is exactly how bookies work - most don't seem to understand this
  7. Melbourne this week:
  8. 100% only winning the Premiership will change the perception of the club...Geelong were the handbaggers until their dominant era and we never hear about 9thmond for the Tigers anymore either
  9. We do owe them a pummeling for years of torment
  10. Makes sense to manage the side as appropriate too though...no point flogging 22 blokes before finals then copping injuries and not having enough players who’ve been exposed at the top level
  11. sisso replied to one_demon's topic in Melbourne Demons
Saw a bunch of drunken Tiger supporters publicly urinating in Yarra Park on the way back to the train after the match....think I’d prefer to be associated with skiing and Range Rovers than those ferals
  12. Would also like to see what Chandler can do he looked in great form in the pre season....don’t think we’ve ever been in this position before so many players to try and fit in!
  13. Good week to rest a couple of sore boys, could Max use a lighter week? He’s looking a bit sore especially with Lynch and Riewoldt crashing into him last night and he has had back issues before.
  14. Played really well last night, he’s an example of a player needing adjust his game based on the strength of the team he’s in. Could easily go to a weaker team and rack up 35 every week on the ball but is starting to turn into a very good wingman.
  15. Why wouldnt the weid be in....injured again?
  16. He's on the way to becoming our version of Corey Enright, an underrated superstar in a team of bigger name superstars!
  17. Ive actually thought this....our horrific 2019 season allowed us to inject 3 fantastic kids which have transformed the side, similar to what Port did with Rozee, Duursma and Butters: not that we deliberately played like rubbish in 2019 but in hindsight...
  18. It was shocking on Sunday in the Ponsford I couldnt even hear my radio turned up full!
  19. Couldnt agree more - so many empty seats at the G yesterday and we are all crammed in like sardines in a few bays, I thought how ridiculous
  20. Imagine how hard the lid is going to fly off if we do manage to get over the line...
  21. Got home late after having a celebratory burger in the CBD after the match....never thought we were in any danger of losing you could see the boys worked over Hawthorn who were ready to crack by the last qtr...Max what a titan I can’t remember a more dominant Melbourne player in my 40 years as a supporter
  22. Not a huge Melk fan either but he could have kicked 3 last week as an opportunist forward...muffed a fairly easy set shot and a snap from in front
  23. Good week to exercise player lending rules and borrow Hoges back for a week? GWS don’t seem to want to use him!
  24. time for TMac to kick a bag of 5
  25. Mitch Brown isn’t the worst option to replace Fritta and he kicked 3 in the VFL last week
