Bate - effective but limited Bennell - was rarely sighted Bruce - outstanding all game Davey - only brief glimpses Frawley - solid and dependable Green - prolific and determined Grimes - a certain nominee Jamar - a vital presence Jetta - had limited influence Jones - brave but slowwww Jurrah - some exciting cameos Martin - another promising performance McLean - terrific in close McDonald - gave some grunt Moloney - strong and aggressive Morton - seemingly without passion Petterd - some effective disposals Rivers - Rivers of old Robertson - Robertson of old Sylvia - made another statement Warnock - loved his energy Wheatley - provided some composure

Duh ! OK then let's recruit him as a centreman .

This conjecture is just too ridiculous for words - Scully may be better on a flank !

I'm sorry for my late involvement in this , but is it too late to suggest that I will frame it free of charge - it is afterall part of my business as a picture framer / gallery owner that I regularly frame sporting memorabilia . If the jumper is left at either my Malvern or Fountain Gate stores , I can have it framed , with a plaque denoting the relevant information included , within a week . Please advise ASAP if I can be of help . -
6 - Davey 5 - Bruce 4 - Sylvia 3 - Martin 2 - Grimes 1 - Jurrah

Bennell - much to learn Bruce - never stopped trying Davey - classy as usual Frawley - tried but failed Green - had little influence Grimes - stuck to task Jetta - disposal was disappointing Johnson - murdered in centre Jones - tried but failed Jurrah - cause for optimism Martin - growing in confidence McLean - needs rest immediately Miller - a casual observer Moloney - failed to impress Morton - played without intensity Petterd - little to enthuse Rivers - totally one dimensional Robertson - career is over Sylvia - quieter but pleasing Whelan - game has passed Warnock - was well beaten Watts - had occasional involvement
-
I agree with your summation , but think he's more like a reincarnation of Paul Hopgood - probably the worst skilled footballers I have ever seen in 45 years of watching the Dees religiously . They look alike too !
-
Anyone remember the hype surrounding McLean and Sylvia ,who both dominated TAC competitions ,but have failed to reach dominant levels in senior company ?
-
......and you tell me to ' grow up ' ! Yes I can see GC offering us the world for Miller , he's exactly what they need .
-
-
Not a fair comparison with Watts for so many reasons , but I agree with your summation of Jurrah's game .
-
6 - Green 5 - Johnson 4 - Moloney 3 - Frawley 2 - Martin 1 - Davey

Bartram - league's worst kick Bate - a casual observer Bennell - was rarely sighted Bruce - possessions lacked impact Cheney - was rarely sighted Davey - too many turnovers Frawley - terrific all night Green - our only professional Grimes - stuck to task Jetta - all at sea Johnson - strong all night Jurrah - cause for excitement Martin - career best game McLean - better but slow Miller - gave no leadership Moloney - heart of team Morton - career has stalled Rivers - was well beaten Robertson - little to commend Sylvia - continued his renaissance Watts - some nice touches Whelan - oh so loose
-
and either was Brett Ratten.

I'm glad you love my work , but I don't fathom how you can be critical of Jamar because we have a below average on ball brigade . He can only palm the ball in their direction , which he succeeds in doing admirably - the rest is up to them . Enough said .
-
Jamar has been terrific despite a very limited preparation . His tapwork is outstanding and he's moving around the field extremely well . He was easily our best against StKilda , and he easily outpointed Fraser yesterday . What else do you want him to do ?

From memory I think he has only played 1 very good game this year , and in a team that is crying out for senior leaders this is inexcusable from one who is regarded as our incumbent captain . I don't dislike him , I just think he's having a very poor season.
-
I have no qualms with his attitude , ability , skills or looks ; my concern was that all of his opponents throughout the day kicked many goals on him . Thus he was taught a lesson !
-
6 - Sylvia 5- Jamar 4 - Bruce 3 - Frawley I refuse to credit anyone else
-
Bate - a major underachiever Bell - lacks spacial awareness Bruce - tried but failed Cheney - kept at task Davey - demands are overwhelming Frawley - tough and focused Green - a quiet game Grimes - was taught lesson Jamar - superb with tapouts Johnson - some incomprehensible errors Jones - constantly poor disposal Maric - game to forget McDonald - had few possessions McLean - poor, getting worse Moloney - was barely sighted Morton - had no presence Rivers - kept at task Robertson - well past prime Sylvia - oustanding allround game Warnock - just a game Watts - no Messiah today Whelan - brave but loose
-
I agree . The title - Taming The Demon , is so apt .
