  1. It certainly used to be CC but he seems to have gone to ground recently
  2. Great job , pretty much nailed everyone IMO
  3. TBH I thought this was one of my more objective weeks ; where are we so different this week ?
  4. 6 - McDonald 5 - Warnock 4 - Grimes 3 - Jamar 2 - Moloney 1 - Scully
  5. Bartram - was rarely sighted Bate - obviously under duress Bennell - tried but failed Bruce - had no influence Davey - quiet then worse Frawley - loose and ineffectual Garland - was shown up Green - couldnt get started Grimes - prolific but loose Jamar - can't criticize endeavour Johnson - probably not playing Jones - scarcely gave whimper McDonald - loved his endeavour Moloney - many ineffective disposals Rivers - game has passed Scully - no repeat heroics Sylvia - a major disappointment Trengove - couldn't handle pressure Warnock - impressive game again Watts - had some moments Hughes - cannot be retained McKenzie - just a game
  6. According to the HeraldSun he had a 57% effective disposal rate . Read into that what you like .
  7. I agree with the sentiments of the thread , but I think they got it wrong yesterday by retaining Johnson, and not making a late switch for a more agile player in the conditions , like the Bulldogs did with Roughead and Hill.
  8. 6 - Scully 5 - Warnock 4 - Jones 3 - McDonald 2 - Bruce 1 - Mckenzie
  9. Bartram - great until clanger Bate - finally imposing himself Bennell - showed some magic Bruce - great shutdown game Davey - sometimes too clever Dunn - tried but flawed Frawley - always a rock Garland - steady and reliable Green - we needed more Grimes - prolific but wasteful Jamar - excellent in conditions Johnson - conditions didn't help Jones - disciplined and effective McDonald - excellent tagging game Moloney - we needed more Rivers - was always steady Scully - the perfect game Sylvia - couldn't get started Trengove - enjoyed the conditions Warnock - destroyed his opponents Hughes - didn't appear overawed McKenzie - wonderful last quarter
  10. He is very slow , but made up for it in rounds 2-5 with quick ball movement , enabled by a lack of pressure from the opposition . He was found out against 2 teams who applied non-stop pressure in rounds 1 and 6.
  11. Excellent changes IMO . Johnson is a very agile and multi-faceted tall man who is in fine form ( for Casey ) and provides far greater flexibility than Martin . Hughes has shown excellent form for Casey and provides an x factor with his strong marking for a shortish forward . McKenzie's return gives us back grunt and strong tackling that was missing last week .
  12. Thanks Tess - if it happens again I'll sue ( removes tongue from cheek )
  13. 6 - Bruce 5 - Green 4 - Grimes 3 - Jamar 2 - Dunn 1 - Davey
  14. Bartram - was not disgraced Bate - second half disappearance Bennell - just occasional glimpses Bruce - flawed but persevered Davey - too rarely involved Dunn - lots to like Frawley - crucial diposal errors Garland - rarely made mistakes Green - only winning forward Grimes - outstanding game again Jamar - was gallant again Jones - too rarely sighted MacDonald - game to forget McDonald - tried against odds Martin - cannot be retained Moloney - had no influence Petterd - not a target Rivers - a pleasing return Scully - only fleeting glimpses Sylvia - no messiah today Trengove - returned to earth Warnock - good despite pressure
  15. It WAS bad but there have been worse - and all gainst the Dees.
  16. 6 - Moloney 5 - McDonald 4 - Bate 3 - Frawley 2 - Jones 1 - Jamar
  17. Bartram - continued excellent year Bate - season's best game Bennell - only minimal involvement Bruce - effective but flawed Davey - sporadic but exciting Dunn - an important player Frawley -an outstanding performance Garland - some vital interceptions Green - always looked dangerous Grimes - not as prolific Jamar - outstanding tapwork again Jones - tireless and dynamic MacDonald - point successfullly proved Martin - didn't take chance McDonald - leader amongst men Moloney - dynamic leader's game Petterd - important early touches Scully - some genius handballing Sylvia - exciting game breaker Trengove - precise decision making Warnock - tough and focussed McKenzie - was not overawed
  18. Not at all . He is so passionate about the club and bleeds for it . Why are we better off without hearing from him ?
  19. Some older Demonlanders may see in Bail , what I regard as an amazing likeness to a former Demon great in Andrew Obst with his long -striding movements , sure ball -handling , and boyish good looks .
  20. 6 - McDonald 5 - Moloney 4 - Jones 3 - Sylvia 2 - Jamar 1 - Warnock
  21. Bail - continues to impress Bartram - reliable disposal again Bate - continues working hard Bennell - had little impact Bruce - prolific but wasteful Davey - outstanding in spurts Dunn - getting it together Frawley - improved second half Garland - old reliability returning Green - enjoyed his game Grimes - the designated rebounder Jamar - tapwork brilliant again Jones - great all day McDonald - superlatives aren't enough MacDonald - tough and creative Moloney - racked up possessions Petterd - always a presence Scully - creative and aware Sylvia - outstanding second half Trengove - some impressive movements Warnock - was always solid McKenzie - seemed very composed
  22. It was pure luck for everyone concerned that Dangerfield escaped with relatively minor injuries . The tackle was not illegal but the consequences could have been so much more dire but for luck and a fit body .
  23. Funny what a little success can do for a guy - and the football team winning doesn't hurt !
  24. Bail - pace and endeavour Bartram - outstanding all game Bate - slowly finding touch Bennell - wonderful up forward Bruce - reliable all game Davey - consecutive outstanding games Dunn - becoming important ingredient Frawley - becoming elite defender Garland - steady and reliable Green - classy and composed Grimes - fantastic last quarter Jamar - in oustanding form Jones - aggressive and steady MacDonald - composed and reliable McDonald - wonderful captain's game Moloney - loved his endeavour Petterd - not as dangerous Scully - improving each week Trengove - this week's nomination Warnock - obliterated all opposition McKenzie - improved beyond expectations Newton - played important role
