  1. That is so much rubbish! Win the next two games, and with a winnable game in hand we are a good chance to make finals. Throw out half the team and give the season away . I again urge u to look at the teams we’ve played. We’ve played the 4 most tipped teams for the flag, in fact The five most tipped, WC, Rich, PA, Brisbane, Geelong . it is a very odd season .Freo have just beaten the Pies ( I’m heartbroken)

Am I alone in being puzzled about Tom’s role on Thursday? Don’t misunderstand me, he tried hard and was not too bad. But he was given the role of running with Boak. This meant that when Boak was in the middle for centre bounces, Sparrow was there too. problem was that this meant that one of our gun midfielders was not there. Surely, in Clarry, Viney, Trac and Brayshaw we have an excellent midfield. I would have told Sparrow to pick up Boak outside the centre bounces. I might be wrong but I thought Tracc was in there less than normal
  3. That is disgraceful , you should be ashamed to publish that stuff, even if in your twisted mind you think it. Any number of AFL identities have been gamblers. Today on the ABC McClure revealed that Riccuito had 100,000 in his betting account . the players love and respect him ( this from a bloke whom I know who lost his spot on the list last year)
  4. Depends on the weather. If it’s another wet slippery pitch I would not play Kosi or Pickett. dont misunderstand me I think both are future stars but in these conditions Tom McD and ANB would have been better
  5. Viney oliver salem may max langdon
  6. I thought that overall we did ok from the umpires. The last 50m against Fritsch was hard to digest, he was plainly confused .
  7. Oh come on! How many goals did Tom McD kick in about 16 matches in 2018? Truly, he remains the key to the forward line doesnt he?And now there is another key forward playing the pressure on him will reduce. He may well find his form incidentally, going to be wet, slippery on Sunday. I would play Tom, not Jackson. And I would play Jones.Experience vital in the wet

This may not be the correct place for this post. But the way I see it, by Thursday week we will have played Richmond, Cats, Brisbane and Port. Four teams regarded as very likely finalists . Then two weeks later we will have played the Pies. Somewhere in the remaining weeks we must have a run of matches v the lesser clubs . A win in R 17 v Swans would be just as valuable as this week’s match, if it gets us into the finals
  9. This gives me the opportunity to ask, “ what is the situation re Koladjashnij?” He was suffering from concussion quite early last year. Has he been able to train at all this year? Is he in the gym? I have every sympathy for him, and he can be a very capable player but is it time to bring the situation to a head , perhaps pay out his contract and open up a place on the list
  10. What a truly pathetic post !!
  11. Look. FFS no-one is interested in your meandering drivel , you sound like Cliff from Clematis who’s heard a rumour . For heavens’ sake stop, think about something more interesting like growing parsley . Give us a daily update. Would be more interesting than anything you’ve contributed in months.

Are u seriously suggesting they will make three changes after that win? Give us a break!

If fit, one of the first picked.
  14. Ok. We picked up Kozie ( likely 200 games) Jackson , ditto, Rivers, possibly ditto plus Bennell, Langdon, Tomlinson seems ok to me. I think we are a live chance this year, and a terrific chance next year
  15. Do you still think so Greendale, after today? jackson could win a Brownlow . Never seen an 18yo very tall, so promising

I don’t think this is as demented as others do. first, it was written last week. We’ve since scored a win. Secondly, we’ve played WC in Perth, Cats and Tigers at the G. Lost to Cats by 2 points. An extremely hard group of matches; we haven’t lost a match we were expected to win,. Our position on ladder looks bad but it is deceiving because we have a game in hand. something which was not mentioned but which is important is that this is , largely, a new side.. These blokes have not played many matches together . It doesn’t matter if May has played 150games. How many has he played with Oscar, Nev, Christian, Lever, Lockhart ?If u look at the v successful Richmond and WC teams in the past 5/6 years they’ve had great player continuity. I am certain the second half if the season will be stronger than the first half. it is now becoming plain that there are some poor teams and sooner or later we must play them. We could easily win a bunch of games in a row, and remember what happened in 2018. I think our list this year is stronger. I backed us for the flag pre season and at 80/1 the odds are ridiculous. Time to double up! Of course we may lose to the Hawks and Brisbane and you can all laugh at us

Jetta cooked? First game back, ran into something special. Surely he deserves another match .
  18. I think his lick with two minutes to go, may turn him into an outstanding player. His inability to’ kick straightforward goals has been a real downer. That was a class act under pressure
  19. U are of course facetious. But I noticed that with 10 to go and scores level he moved May to CHF. In other words trying to win the game rather than hold in defensively. It shows he hasn’t lost both courage and enterprise. Woukd have been slaughtered if it had lead to a loss
  20. Played quite well v Geelong but lacked determination v Tigers
  21. Hell.i thought Hannan was good, first match back. Hunt was awful.
  22. I thought he was pretty good in the pre season matches which were reasonably competitive

He was anything but average in the effect he had upon MFC. i know he had problems But I woukd never have let him go
  24. At the time we were playing well in Q2 TMAC was battling like hell, creating contests, nearly clunking a couple. Then he nearly gets broken ribs in Q3 but still takes a great grab and kicks a goal in the last.Get off his back! The problem is the gameplan when we beat the Cats easily in the finals in 2018 Weideman took a few marks.Even if he only creates a contest he must be played
  25. They did only kick 7 goals five. but I agree, our gameplay was [censored]. We must have another tall forward
