Agreed. , so pleased for him!

CASEY: Rd 01 vs Footscray VFL
Interesting. In the last quarter of the match v NM his disposal was first rate

POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs St. Kilda
I’m very interested to see again a match review decision when Langdon marked the ball between goal and point post. They showed one clip only, when the ball had been firmly marked, and it was over the line. But I believe it plain that had we seen a couple of earlier clips it would have shown that initial contact was inside the line

POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs St. Kilda
Agree re Culley. How on earth did West Coast let him go?

At least a few years ago the Cats were offering that facility

Farewell Clayton Oliver
We read before the start of the season that Clarry should have made the move to GWS a season earlier. Then he played v well in their first match . But in all his years as a Dee did he ever suffer such a thrashing as he suffered on Saturday ?

No. But u do get a discount if u have ever sat alongside Ralph at a Dees’ match

BEWARE THE IDES OF MARCH by The Oracle
I’ve also been thinking ( a worry I know). I would play Heath on Sunday.,it is The best game for him to start his MFC career and IMV , the boy can play. I also don’t want to see JVR moving away from CHF in order to fill in in the ruck . In the absence of Kentfield I would play double max !

PREGAME: Rd 01 vs St. Kilda
Gosh, u guys have got it in for Kolt. Surely he plays. Culley unlikely on this prep

POSTGAME: Practice Match vs Richmond
Yep pretty close I think

PREGAME: Practice Match vs Richmond

And Jefferson ( who has never played CHF incidentally) instead of Kentfield. Not on the basis of last Friday

Jeffo Ready to Soar in 2026
Well Look I hope u r correct. I would like the boy to succeed. Surely the plethora of forward line coaches could work out his best approach. But on Friday he looked lost, and when he had a couple of genuine marking chances he fluffed them

Jeffo Ready to Soar in 2026
Gosh, he was disappointing on Friday. Whilst JVR wasn’t great, he was regularly leading up to the ball. I may be incorrect but I didn’t see Jeffo leading

The AGE - a farce
This is absurd. First, there is a perfectly good coverage of last night’s Match in my copy of The Age. Secondly, their team of footy writers is first rate

POSTGAME: Practice Match vs North Melbourne
People are undervaluing the 2 minute Sims. When we were down by 2 points the coach put Turner up forward, which is precisely what should happen in a match . I think the 2 sessions were of real value

Tholstrup!!!!

GAMEDAY: Practice Match vs North Melbourne
It was! Is Taylor playing?

A New Dawn for the Dees Midfield
The last 3 matches by Windsor showed why he is every bit an outside mid , which we badly need. On the other hand unless Sparrow makes great improvement , yes he should play as a Mid. At Casey! The last 3 matches showed why Windsor is a gun outside mid, with pace . On the other hand each year Sparrow’s stats get worse. Averaged 13 possessions a game in 25, compared with 17 in 23. I expected great things from him and have been SO disappointed . In the last match v Collingwood we would have won but for some real blunders by Sparrow in q4

Rolling Weekly Best 23
I agree with you. Sparrow was extraordinarily poor in the last match v Collingwood. Seriously, we would have won but for a couple of his efforts. Sparrow should now be a major player within the club, he has had heaps of games but IMV he has not progressed one bit since 2021. If Culley were fit I doubt Sparrow gets a game

I would have let him go. He was bloody awful v Magpies. Has stagnated
