Depression is a very complex illness. No doubt a combination of factors including environment and situation are involved. For the depressed person the situation can seem much worse than others may see it. Im also an RN Jane02 and I also have depression fork. Its a bit hard for us to judge Mitch's situation. At least these days depression is hopefully better understood in the community. I would not be looking at Mitch as the poster boy for depression. All we can do is see how this all plays out.

If I was weak or soft I would have given up in the early 80's I think that you are confusing club and team culture with supporter/member views from the outside I am not a stereotypical melbourne supporter "go number 9" and that cr@p I am a man who is loyal to a club. That does not mean that I accept mediocrity You may choose to call that stupid rather than soft hearted. Im certainly not inbred or in decline

I tend to agree with others that suggest that more pick gives you greater opportunity to get one or 2 "stars" IF our development and list management has improved, I would be looking at trading for known talent and getting extra picks in the top 20 by trading. Another 2 for one like Tyson may be the way to go? If the AFL was serious about equalisation. It would give the bottom 4 clubs access to the top 12 picks. The competition can not be equal until all clubs have a chance of winning.

Thanks for the support guys! I guess the best thing to do is to contact the support groups that are currently operating. I will scope out some venues to watch a few games next year and I will post if we are considering doing any events. Time is precious, but I'd like to watch the games with fellow dees. If the bloody twilight slots on a sunday were dumped we might just get to a few more games!

Hi Guys Im a demon supporter from Wangaratta and Im wondering if anyone on demonland would like to catch up and watch the games? (probably next year!) I remember that there was a club based in Shepparton? I realise it is going to be hard to stick together as the clubs fortunes are diving once again but I thought id put the word out to see if we could get some families together to watch the games, have a BBQ etc. So far my girls have nt defected yet! It would make sense if Lingy comes on board at the end of the current year for contracted players/coaches. ?october 1st. This would get him involved with the draft, the current group during preseason and may have some influence on free agents etc. You would be able to assess whether he is the chosen one after a period of time, i think he could really fast track our improvement if he was at the club during preseason
