Disagree with you rocky. Oscar will end up being as good as or better than tmac.He is more composed and taller. He is probably a 2-3rd forward in reality and is being played out of position by neccessity. I would have played hogan at CHB but now it wouldnt surprise me if weeds ends up as the swingman

We didnt have that marking target on the wing that collingood had in cox last night. If we can use weeds in this way and have hogan back we can get better overhead. Too many errors today but i also see that we lack strength on the air generally.

With the benefit of hindsight we can show the group that they can do it. The press was that we couldnt win the close games, couldnt beat the top 8 teams, couldnt succeed without lever and hogan. The group will learn to trust each other and the system. They will win those close games that we should win. Remember those games we lost by not turning up? Carlton, essendon, north at the G? This year just st kilda and nearly brisbane. This is a vastly different team to just 12 months ago. First year players in fritsch and spargo played very well. Cant understand the lack of intensity at the ball and man. Maybe we hit the wall physically and emotionally. It comes down to will in the end. At least we got some experience and my thoughts to this point had been that we are so young and we are rising.

I managed to get into the ballot at Cat 3 Our children were Cat 2 im thinking because they had home and away memberships as part of our country member 5 game package. This meant that they could enter as children but would have no adults with them! So we all drop to cat 3. Im thinking if others have the same as me the guys without kids who are cat 2 will have a better chance! Do we seriously need to have 400×8 in our bank account if we win?
