Liam Reidy had 19 disposals, 3 marks, 4 tackles and 54 hit outs on the weekend in the WAFL. I hope he's the one we are looking at as the main back up for Max next year.

I'm going to preface this by saying I love Clarry and I want the club to continue to back him and get him right over this off season. But seriously, if his hand is that cooked please please please just send him for surgery and focus on getting him super fit for 2025. There is absolutely no point in playing him these last two weeks and he is having zero impact on the game. I would rather we run with a Bailey Laurie, who was actually solid when he played a few weeks ago. Even play Kynan Brown in the forward line and play Neal-Bullen more midfield if required.

Watching the Hawks play we need to focus on speed and endurance more than anything. Langdon, Windsor and McVee definitely have it. We probably need another 2-3 with elite speed and endurance to compete with the best sides now.

Great take and my thoughts exactly. Choosing not to post non stop calling players spuds etc does not mean we accept mediocrity.

Was reasonably happy with Salo’s game. Think we need to leave him at half back to protect his body. Don’t think the running levels required for a mid suit him

They purposely finished bottom of the ladder multiple years. You want to go back to the very bottom of the ladder again? We are doing a mini-rebuild on the run and will have a top 10 pick this year, assuming we don’t give it up for Houston which I pray we don’t.

JVR didn’t have an impact on the game and we switched a forward for a forward. He’s a young key position player who is still learning. The only other than we could’ve subbed is Fritsch, but splitting hairs.

We will already be doing that with Schache, Brayshaw, Hunter, Brown, Tomlinson, Smith and maybe TMac… you don’t want to turn over much more than that in one year!

It’s the same as the Petty thing. The journos all say oh they were offering two first round picks, however we never even entertained the trade so how would they know what was actually going to be offered.

I think Sam De Koning would be similar to White, though I think white will be better below his knees. I don’t think he has quite the athleticism of Mac Andrew.

Didn’t get to see much in the first half tbh. He took a nice mark on the lead and just missed the goal from about 40m out. Kicking technique looked fine. Didn’t watch the second half. 1st quarter of the other game just finished. White wasn’t too involved playing full back, but he moves really well for a 198cm player.

Agreed. I think he should model his game on Tom Hawkins. Very similar body size at the same age.

Ah-mu is an absolute unit. He will have to build a tank though I think to make it at afl level
