Watching the Hawks play we need to focus on speed and endurance more than anything. Langdon, Windsor and McVee definitely have it. We probably need another 2-3 with elite speed and endurance to compete with the best sides now.

Was reasonably happy with Salo’s game. Think we need to leave him at half back to protect his body. Don’t think the running levels required for a mid suit him

I think Sam De Koning would be similar to White, though I think white will be better below his knees. I don’t think he has quite the athleticism of Mac Andrew.

Didn’t get to see much in the first half tbh. He took a nice mark on the lead and just missed the goal from about 40m out. Kicking technique looked fine. Didn’t watch the second half. 1st quarter of the other game just finished. White wasn’t too involved playing full back, but he moves really well for a 198cm player.

Agreed. I think he should model his game on Tom Hawkins. Very similar body size at the same age.

Ah-mu is an absolute unit. He will have to build a tank though I think to make it at afl level

The facts are when Dusty signed his long term contract he had 1 club best and fairest and 1 all aus. in comparison Clarry had 3 x bnf, 1 premiership, 2 x all aus and 1 coaches award. He got his 4th bnf, 3rd all aus and 2 coaches award the year he signed.
