I feel like we may have made Langford the sub due to the conditions suiting players like Henderson and Sharp more. I reckon Langford will be best 22 this week and one of Henderson or Sharp to be the sub this week.

I am happy with this side and agree it is probably our best possible side. You could swap Jeffo or Turner for Johnson if we don't want JVR rucking, but I liked what I saw from Jeffo so maybe we persist with him instead? I'd also have Sharp as sub or potentially replacing Fritsch if his form doesn't improve!

One thing I do want to call out was big Maxy, who I thought was a bit selfish going for his two shots at goal. He was way out for both, so potentially the smarter option was to go to the top of the square.

I think Logue did a hamstring and Comben also came off sore, so will be interesting to see what happens with their backline. Obviously Archer also suspended, but I expect him to get off as that is a ridiculous thing to be suspended for.... but I thought that about Kozzy last year also

I do find it funny when people think bringing in a player who has had some cameos at VFL level would impact the result of an AFL match.

This is spot on. It wasn't the gameplan, kicking efficiency, forward line issues that cost the game. It was our inability to execute in the last 2 minutes. I'm sure they will review that in detail to get better for the next time... hopefully
