He played as a back at junior level. I'm sure they will stick with him forward, just debating whether they could make the move.

Kozzy will also have to consideration to where he wants to play the majority of his footy position wise. If he goes to Freo he won't be getting any midfield time you wouldn't think and also their salary cap will be stacked very soon. If he stays with us he will get a very nice pay day and will also likely be one of our main midfield options moving forward.

It's really just to move JVR back for a while to get some confidence back.

I'm happy with Jeffo over Petty or Fullars as well, just don't want him to be thrown forward with little support. I'm confident he will be a good forward for us though.

I'd prefer Petty there over TMac personally. He actually had an impact after half time when he went down there and kicked a goal. Last year he was still recovering from his foot injury which I think impacted him badly.

Fullarton just has to play this weekend. I know he isn't anything special, but we are crying out for a 200cm forward who can at least bring the ball to ground! I also think if we aren't going to drop JVR, throw him back for a while as a bit of education playing on other key forwards and keep Petty forward. I have full confidence Lindsay will be an A grader, same with Langford and Windsor. Not as sure on Tholstrup, but he seems to be one of those outstanding personalities that all clubs need like an Angus Brayshaw. At least we didn't trade our future first for Houston, I reckon that was on the cards until he walked away from us!

I think you would have Chappy step into the caretaker role and they can continue to work on whatever it is they are trying to work on now. The sacking of the coach is more symbolic of change and also to clear the air to commence looking for a new coaching setup. Not the best look to be interviewing new coaches while Goody is still the head coach, though some teams have done it in the past ala the Ross Lyon sagas.

The rumours doing the rounds is that we are seeking out Bartel to take over from Richo, hope it’s true.

Love what we are trying to do with the Alice Springs area and the time and effort put into building it.

That may be true, but then by that logic you can't blame the coach that we are losing as it could be due to other factors. The truth is it is somewhere in the middle, of course he should get some credit for helping us a win a flag. The same as Yze & Chappy should also, plus all the players. But it may be that now his message is becoming stale and we need a new voice at the top. Time will tell.

This could be spectacularly terrible. Everytime in the past we’ve gone in with a small forward line we’ve consistently bombed it to no one. No idea what Goody and the match committee are thinking, but he may fall on his own sword if we get smashed. There’s really no rhyme or reason with our team selections this year. The structure of our side has been consistently changing, so how are we trying to play? If they want to go the small forward line we are going to have to be precise with our kicking and we will also have to put on high pressure for most of the game. Don’t do that and we will lose this game by 6 goals easily.
