Fair point. Though there are plenty of sides who have picked up mature age rookies late or in the mid-season draft and played them immediately. I think he is good enough to have a long term best 23 spot, I'm more referring to that he is still learning the team systems etc.

I'm sure he is, but hopefully we are right in the fight because we just have to replenish the list and cutting everyone and sitting at the bottom for 5 years is not a good strategy anymore.

Agreed. Let’s not forget he only got a spot a few weeks before the season started, he’s trying to play afl level footy without even doing a full pre season with the side. He’s 100% worth persisting with in the small forward role.

I think we need to go hard at some players with talent at other clubs who can’t get a go due to positional strength. We need them to come in and have the ability to impact straight away, I don’t want to languish back down the bottom again! For example, Leek Aleer was pick 15 in 2021 but can’t get a go at the Giants. At 23 he’s about to enter a great age for key position players and has extraordinary athletic ability. I’m sure there are plenty more out there we can target, but if we get White and Sinnema through the draft we are still rebuilding with youth while trying to stay relevant! The Giants have a ridiculous amount of depth. We need to raid as much as we can.

Just sick of people going on about the first round pick without mentioning who we got for it. Lindsay was genuinely The best performed draftee the first two weeks, better than Ashcroft, lalor, O’Sullivan, Draper… all top 5 picks. He’s an absolute jet and I’m Glad we got him.

Maybe goody should go, but Selwyn Griffiths should absolutely go! We’ve gone backwards at a rate of knots since he took over from Burgess.

Was having a bit of a laugh... wasn't a terrible kick. A little bit loopy though so gave the defender a chance. Also a dangerous spot. I do like what I see from Sestan though, something to work with at half back.
