My take is that Oliver will be good to o for Sunday and TMac will likely miss Round 1. Pederson is a more than capable replacement for TMac so I don't think it should affect the team performance too much. Plus it is meant to be wet on Sunday so as long as our forwards chase and tackle we should be fine.

End of the day he should have taken his time last season to ensure he was right to play. He has obviously learnt from this and will be taking the extra time to be 100% right before playing. We can cover him for the first 2-3 rounds but will need a fit a firing Viney as the season drags on.

Well that was probably as strong a Saints side as they will have. We had a few key players missing in Viney, Lewis & McDonald which bodes well I guess. Hopefully we don't allow teams many run ons in the when the real thing starts though!

Jake Niall is petty spot on with his assessment. Hibberd & Hunt give us elite half backs. Lever is an elite intercept mark. Oliver, Tyson, Viney & Jones are all fantastic inside mids. Petracca gives us forward X factor. Hogan & Mcdonald are solid key talls. I think the missing piece is really that outside runner, which is why I think we should be going after Gaff at the end of this year.

The North Melbourne one still staggers me. They haven't even been that good in that time! Plus my best mate is a Kangas supporter so that has really caused me some grief. Please, please, please let us [censored] them this year!

I'd ask the question of how many sides last year played the majority of the season without 1)their number one ruck 2)their number one key forward 3) their number one mid? I would say the answer is zero. This is the reason why we will play finals this year. Combined with the fact the following players are a year older, Oliver, Salem, Brayshaw, Petracca, Hunt, Harmes & ANB. At the end of the day the proof is in the pudding and I'm confident we will be there come September.
