Can we just deal with the freaking nightmare of 2020 first?

On one hand we have only beaten teams currently 12th or lower.or the other hand we have let to the top 4 plus the tigers. The season is poised beautifully to see where we really sit as we play 7 teams in roughly this middle group.

Biggest upset of the year. Giants are full of guns. Swans missing many top players. the 8 is open!

We could be in the 8 on Sat night if we win!

Jebus. I was hoping for a 4th option. It will be a much weakened team regardless. Preuss's last couple of games for us were very poor. His work around the ground almost non-existent I would not be surprised at all if they get creative with the ruck situation rather than playing Preuss

Unfortunately the Giants and dogs have easy games. Such a big game against the the Pies! I would call it an 8 pointer but it's still just played for 4 points

I'm already excited to see the Suns (hopefully) smash the Dons. With the Saints, Tigers and us to come after tonight, their season should be done soon! which gives me far too much joy

Interesting to hear all the positivity on here about Demons beating the Pies. all we have done is beat the two worst teams in the comp. and lost to the two best teams. I wonder where we really sit? Somewhere between 7th and 12th I’d wager. the Pies are starting favourites for the game at the bookies. With their injuries and coming off a 4 day break we’d have to be a good chance

I'd say he'll be cut. The irony is he would very likely be getting a game at the bombers right, given their injuries We still have Petty to come back to help our tall fwd stocks

Finally some sense! Viney is not a guy you play majority of the time fwd. Rotate the best 4 through the midfield and rest one fwd. Oliver and Trac already spend time forward. Viney's intensity and aggression is clearly underated by some on here. When the top teams come and hopefully finals come, no doubt Viney is starting on the ball. Not sold on Gus yet, he has done well against the two worst teams in the comp, let's see if he can back it up against some decent teams

What a crock. I'm sure if the lions had Hogan and T Mac kicking 50 goals each, Hipwood wouldn't have gotten much for a game either Hipwood has looked like he adapted to AFL level quicker as despite being skinny, he is very agile and a different player to Weed

They might have been third but it Wouldn’t surprise me if the saints miss out on finals. No gun tall fwds, inside midfield can be beaten. Play keepings off and they fold

He is averaging 1 tackle per game and 9 touches. Also less than 1 assist per game. Not doing enough team things in my opinion. Especially considering how talented he is and he is in his prime. he does have 12 goals which is keeping him just ticking over. I think he needs a rocket

I reckon some young players could use a game off to stay fresh. this week perhaps Jackson? He would sore after being 1st ruck gawn for Jackson viney for Harmes - or milkshake

I reckon the saints are more likely to slide down the ladder. So I’m ok with the cats winning. Saints are majorly overrated
