The latest I heard is the slow broad spread of COVID in Australia and it will peak around late May. So delaying the season a few weeks won't help. this must be why they are trying to get a few games in and then then take a break. it's going to be a weird weird season either way

I have more hope for Hibbo. He got the ball a lot and was in the right positions, just needs to adjust to 30-40 kicks rather than blazing away which I think he can do. He is also fitter than last year.

Having virtually no best 22 players unavailable for round 1 and 90% of the top tier getting a good preseason is a great result. No excuses Demons!! If Clarry played like he did last year off no preseason, I cannot wait for the season to begin! *I am not including Bennell as he has so long to go to be considered for a game.

I get that Brown is doing well in the practice matches (but kicking not great) but I don't think he gets a look in when Gawn is back. 2 of T Mac, Weed, LJ and Brown will be up fwd I would think. We have Trac, Fristch, Melk, up there too Brown would be last in line for me. good to have the back up though!

I agree with him about Brisbane, I predict they will have a tough year. No hodge, a young team will struggle with expectations. I always think the Cats will struggle but they finished top last year so who knows. Sydney have zero chance of top 8, not sure where he is coming from on this one.
