I wonder if the SC will consider managing senior players next week in Tassie against North. Obviously has risks but we should look at Gawn (replace with Grundy), May, Lever, Viney, Trac and see if one or two of them needs to be managed so they are firing come finals. We have the pre finals bye but playing through injuries or niggles can be riskier than resting players as seen last year

One thing I am still confused by with Footy is counting possessions and having the ball more means you play well regardless of what you do with it. Pretty sure its the only sport in the world that counts the amount of time you get the ball and that equals a good performance. The commentators sometimes keep counting the times a player gets it! Dunstan is a classic example, he is not a skillful player, is not quick and can not play anywhere else than pure inside mid. He is a great VFL player but is very limited on an AFL level. Everyone calling for him to play just watch the couple of AFL games he played last year. Why is he not selected after multiple 40 touch games? he is not AFL quality. Harsh but true. He couldn't even get a game for the Saints when they had a horrible midfield. If Viney plus others are out though, he is there for cover.

The club obviously see our tall fwds as Petty and JVR. Petty was starting to look very good forward before he go injured. We need a big senior body up there who can compete. Brown showed he couldn't do that on the weekend

Reckon it’s clicked with Henry this year. his upside is huge. if we added more speed and skill to our midfield we would be unstoppable

i totally agree with you but am personally happy to let the Pies take all the pressure and expectation into finals. no doubt in my mind the the Pies fear us most

surprised by the many fired up responses to my comment. sure they may have talked about babies and toddlers being in the song. obviously i’m not aware of that. just expressing my opinion.

Been my favourite player for years an amazing leader on and off field. his desire and will to win are critical come finals he is our most important player
