Lions with 4 posters could be 10.5
-
True. But their pressure has been poor they will win but not a confidence builder
-
Lions losing helps our chances. Not sure how you can argue against that but I don’t wanna be argumentative [censored]. Lions look average right now but no doubt in my mind they will be our main challenger come finals
-
You don’t think the lions losing helps our top 2/4 chances?
-
Gee I thought the Lions would be fired up after last week! midfield missing
-
on track to be our 3rd MFC player to 300 games
-
Still think we should have picked Parish
-
The demons are definitely in turmoil! Trac, Clarry, Vines, Sales etc signed up for life Coaches stable and happy. Top of the ladder after our first flag in 57 years find another BS story Herald Sun!!

Being caught up with Gus and LJ I forgot about our No. 1 priority! this is the best news possible. gotta love this club, our best player of a generation and we don’t have to worry for one second about losing him or Trac to free agency. could not love this bloke anymore.
-
I would take A. Brayshaw for LJ. Brayshaw is the best young player in the game imo
-
Personally I would not want to play with someone who I might be playing against in the GF the following year. As soon as he signs on with another club he shouldn't play for us again imo
-
Aside from BS journalist tweets/rumours and Goodwin saying he is hopefully Jackson will stay for the long haul is there anything else that has occurred to make everyone sure he will leave? He would be mad not to at least sign for 2 more years and then spend 8 years in WA. I'm backing him to sign on

WTF dude
-
Thanks for quality check Swoops!
-
did a rough count and got 22 votes for Viney (was either that or working) he has played his best footy in the past month including 3 losses. if he keeps it up he will gain more for sure
-
Media is getting stuck into Stewart (rightly so). Robbo wants 5-6 weeks and Whateley states based on precedents 3 weeks is the absolute minimum. I think it would be a surprise if he got less than 4 weeks *apologies for quoting Robbo
-
used to be the straightest kick for goal. Last few years that has dropped off which is strange Motivation plus body holding up would be my primary concerns but worth a look
-
Will always remember him celebrating post GF. You would swear he had just won the Norm. Great bloke to have had around the club

Stewart has to get at least 4 weeks. There is no defence for what he did and I can’t to hear the arguments for how this was not intentional.
-
And a 6 day break Vs our 9 day break thats their entire fwd line!
-
I thought he was very good on Thursday. I tend to watch him closely off the ball. I have never seen anything like his chasing. He sprints even when it is likely the ball will be gone. His pressure and inferred pressure is outstanding.

Agree the game should have been stopped but the Tigers we’re still down a key midfield rotation for three quarters and the Stewart continued to dominate
-
The thing that annoys me is that the bump probably decides the game. A key mid is out for the game replaced by a ruck. Stewart gets 29 touches and the Cats win AFL. Need to consider a red card type rule for off the ball hits like this. It’s simply unfair

in fairness to Chris Scott this is good form to call out a bad hit and acknowledge it https://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/teams/geelong-cats/afl-news-2022-chris-scott-press-conference-after-geelong-cats-win-over-richmond-tigers-private-chat-with-tom-stewart-bump-on-dion-prestia/news-story/c14f64e09bbd0533f9b05d43aba6c905
