When does the season proper start?

After last weeks performance, tonight’s result didn’t come as too much of a shock. We’re a complete mess at the moment, a real rabble. I certainly won’t be wasting my Friday night watching our game vs Essendon.

First game at senior level and thrown in the deep end with little support down back, I thought he got a little better as the game went on also. I’ve never said a bad word about Oscar however he had a stinker yesterday, depending on how he goes before Lever gets back I wouldn’t be against dropping Oscar and leaving Hore in the side.

I have to agree, on the face of it we do look mentally weak. However I do think numerous players having interrupted preseasons hasn’t helped.

I also liked that someone waited until the last quarter to tell Hore that he was allowed to take his kick from outside the goal square.

As with the JLT games we didn’t look refreshed nor rejuvenated following the offseason. Hopefully we can get our [censored] together from herein otherwise it’s going to be a long season.
