I’d like to know how many goals he kicked this year as a result of free kicks, from what I’ve seen, he appears to kick quite a few from frees. On another note, we play like a bunch of under 9’s, every player just runs for the ball or for the opposition player who has the ball.

We lack senior players, he’s exactly what we need. He didn’t just have a good game @Lord Nev, he’s had a very good season.

In the past I would have disagreed but the last two seasons the pre-season games have reflected our form in the season proper. In 2018 we were AFLX champions of the world and had a good win over Norf (I believe it was) and the boys looked excited and full of energy. This year we were flat and disinterested during our pre-season games.

I spoke to a mate who goes for Port and he suggested Port haven’t been the same since Richardson left, a very good developer of people apparently.

It’s staggering that the players would come back in that condition and have that attitude, especially in 2018-19. IMO, the coaches and staff are just as much to blame. It’s unacceptable.

Imagine getting rid of the only player who knows what it takes and is willing to do everything he possibly can to be successful. I wouldn’t mind trading any player, if the deal was right, but we aren’t a Hawthorn or West Coast, we only have one real leader and that is Gawn.

The only positive I took away from this season was Gawn, now you’ve taken that away from me.
