People have different ways of dealing with things. A couple of beers with some close mates at a pub whilst having a chat is what works for some people. Better than him dealing with it alone and bottling up any emotions he may be feeling.

Haha, I’ve never met her. Since moving to WA I haven’t had much to do with him. I should have said she was/might still be dating, have no idea if they currently are. I watch ABC News on the weekend and she appears to be pretty good at what she does.
-
She’s a staunch demon. She’s dating an ex-mate of mine.
-
Exactly right, values in this context are subjective. Hack Morris attempting to church up the story.

BREAKING NEWS Aussie bloke has a couple of beers over a few hours at the pub before leaving at 6pm; the perpetually offended are outraged (and offended).
-
He was there for three and a half hours, leaving at 6pm, and had ‘several pints.’ The definition of several is ‘more than two but not many.’ And there’s the possibility said beers were mid-strengh and low carb, even if they were full strength, what’s the actual issue here? Tom Morris is an absolute hack.

May was a year behind Morris.

Beer is full of dextrose, which is a simple sugary carb which can help with recovery post-intense exercise, it also contains electrolytes and plant based nutrients. Clearly he just had an intense workout and was having a recovery session. He should be praised for his dedication.

I wouldn’t be caught dead with a bald head

Was hoping to see him on a wing.

Top 5 in the league for intercept possessions, good work. May, Lever, Jetta, Hore, Hibberd, Frost. Solid backline.

If provocation is raised by the suspect and you can’t negate it, there’s not a Prima Facie case, so over here (obviously if excessive force wasn’t used), we wouldn’t charge.
-
He appears to be more switched on than your average person from Rockingham (think Frankston 20 years ago).
-
So if you guys over there arrest a suspect for common assault (or whatever the equivalent is) and in interview they bring up provocation would you consider it when deciding to charge or always charge and let the courts decide? You’ve sort of answered it above but just want to clarify. Over here we’d consider it when deciding whether or not charge. I suppose that’s where some of the confusion came from.

Brendan McCartney & Cooney/Bulldogs situation

Both Hacks. Thanks for the correction. -
Brendan McCartney & Cooney/Bulldogs situation

He’s turning into a real hack journo. After Reiwoldt’s latest injury Morris tweeted something completely made up and Reiewoldt gave it to him. Journo’s need to be more accountable. -
I was going down the lines of Provocation.

I wouldn’t be a fan of dropping Keilty (or any other first game player). They need time to adjust and get some momentum. We currently don’t have any KPP’s waiting to come back, might as well get some games into Keilty.

I don’t care about the actual incident. I care that people make assumptions about a person and post them on the internet for all to read before they know the facts.
-
If the ‘disabled’ guy threw the beer over the Melbourne supporter and the Melbourne supporter retaliated by punching him, he won’t even be charged. There’s plenty of defences to assault and he has one. If you don’t want to be punched, don’t assault someone by throwing a beer over them. Simple. And ‘clearly disabled’? Pull the other one. The latest updates as reported on the news support my first post.
-
I don’t care about being outraged over the incident as I don’t know the full story, nor do you, is what I meant. I like to know the full facts before I turn full SJW.
-
Who cares. Bad [censored] happens everyday, much worse than this. I don’t feel the need to be outraged by this whatsoever. Plus no one knows the full story, don’t just go by a few seconds worth of footage which doesn’t show what happened prior.

Jordan Lewis is absolutely cooked, never pick him again
Ethan Tremblay replied to DeeSpencer's topic in Melbourne Demons
We have no one to bring in to replace Lewis at this stage. Without runners we need someone to assist with setting up the backline an making moves as necessary. Lever or May will take over this role upon their return I imagine. -
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - DECLAN KEILTY
Ethan Tremblay replied to Steve13's topic in Melbourne Demons
Has some speed, agility and a good leap. He definitely gets a run next week vs Gold Coast. -
I’ve been told they’re going to waterboard him this week.
