Josh Jenkins
I’m no Jenkins fan but he would have been very handy to have this season. But I believe he’ll die if he walks out of the goal square at Adelaide Oval so it won’t happen.

Trade Tom McDonald Thread
If it were well and truly stuffed he wouldn’t be playing footy again.

Welcome to Demonland: Taj Woewodin
I actually haven’t heard him commentate but when I catch his radio program I do enjoy listening to him. He’s straight down the line and doesn’t dramatise situations ala Hagdorn and others from over here.

Welcome to Demonland: Taj Woewodin
He hosts ‘Grandstand’ - a radio program on ABC Radio Perth and commentates games for the same station. He’s also the Senior Coach of North Fremantle.

Trade Tom McDonald Thread
It might be easier to have a thread for players we aren’t going to trade.

Alex Keath
This would be one of the most mundane trades ever.

Welcome back Matsuo. You’re persistent, I’ll give you that.

The AFL’s definition of a tackle is below. I only knew that the initial tackler (as long as the initial tackle falls into the definition of a tackle) is the one one given the stat because I was watching a game one day and there appeared to be many more tackles in it than what the stats stated. When a player stops an opposition player with possession of the ball from getting his kick or handball away in a legal manner, or reduces the effectiveness of the opposition's disposal. The tackler's action must change the course of play.

Players don’t accrue tackle stats if they’re not the first player to tackle the person with the ball. The stat is only given to one player who is obviously the first to lay the tackle. I agree that his tackles are usually ineffective though.

The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
Before injury and being treated like rubbish by Adelaide for not re-signing, Lever was a fantastic defender and would have been up near the best. Quite amazing given his age at the time.

Isaac Smith
If Hawthorn need cap space and Smith wants to stay in Melbourne I reckon a 3rd round pick would get it done.

Isaac Smith
I’m hearing whispers that GC will use an early pick on Smith, somewhere around 17-19. Doesn’t this mean they’ll get two PP’s?#Ihearwhispers #ETthetradebreaker.

The calumny of the AFL's priority pick policy
Every other team is pushed right one as well, would that mean they all get another pick directly after their second round pick? Don’t get me wrong, GC getting a PP annoys me but too many posters (and I’m not saying yourself bn) are taking it too personally, every other team suffers as well.

He’s a bigger body at 182cm than most of our ‘smalls’ and kicks more goals than them too, he’s also only 23. He and Ellis would be an upgrade on JKH, ANB, Stretch, Wagners, Spargo plus others.

I think looking at the state leagues is the way to go. @Pennant St Dee might be able to nominate a couple from over here. Tyrone Thorne any good?

Rioli? He’s not a gun, and Grimes is a reliable backmen who’s been hugely talked up by the media. That aside, I do agree with the principle of your post. Gawn? For sure. Oliver? Probably, but I question his effectiveness given how many times he gets the ball and fires off a quick handball. Consistent performers and performances is key and we don’t have that. Bett’s is in decline and his goal kicking tally was beefed up in performances against lowly teams, IMO given where we are, we should be sticking clear.

EJ Whitten Legends Game 2019
Is there another game next week because it was a draw?

Damien Barrett's scathing assessment of the MFC
The only thing I can think of at the moment is that we told the AFL we are expecting to lose one or a number of our better or up and coming players. Or at the least, they expect them to request a trade. The reason I think this is because he brought up the fact we won’t be offered priority pick assistance.
