Honestly .. I’ve supported the club my whole life & member for 20yr+ .. we have been a rudderless club for decades & Watch Norm Smith in 65 when he was sacked & his own words “we are slipping as a footy club” Peter Jackson is the only CEO I’ve been confident, Pert time will tell . All of our fixes prior to PJ were just band aid approaches .. we don’t have a proper home base.. look at the pies home base! So what do we stand for if you don’t have a mission statement for your club?

Don’t agree it’s what a club/organisation stands for & values etc! It’s what all their decisions they make should be referenced to if not what do you stand for??? Agree getting buy in from all isn’t adhere to & in the case of a footy club if players don’t buy in say F off!

Yep leadership was on display in the way we lost the lead... that kick to the centre of the ground sums us up.. wouldn’t happen in a top club!

What stage do u think a club gets a strong culture? What's the defining factor? Tigers as an example who were all over the shop for decades what changed?

How can the lions attract this caliber of player & comes into a club & continues to dominate! We get an ex captain in May coming to a club thats played in a prelim & presents himself underdone! We have poor culture & leadership issues! With a minute to go our leader goes to a dangerous area! Were are the other leaders to move the players across?? Were are the leaders to ensure Higgins is manned up?? Were have our leaders been to catch on any attitudes coming into the preseason?? What is our culture?? Dogs & Hawks a fine example of executing what they needed to do in the last round to play finals, hawks will not but they beat the eagles away! Questions would love to ask Goodwin!

Culture at hawks continues & go over to the west & beat WC by 5 goals with a chance to play finals. They will get a Patton & or Conniglio & end up winning a flag whilst we ponder & recruit players who end up injured or lose form, overweight etc etc. pessimism yes .. the mfc way

Was not wanting jones to be hung...More around the fact on our lack of leadership & players not moving to the boundary line & having leaders getting players to move to the boundary .. this wouldn’t happen at successful clubs .. FYI my personality has lived through watching this Train wreck of a club since the 70s & never seen a flag! Yet I’m a 20yr + member & a sucker for punishment

Can’t be judged solely on his win/loss at the saints & very harsh criticism here . He may be a wonderful assistant & development coach ..

2017 is very relevant as the majority of leadership & list of players are still there. One would think getting rolled in a prelim would burn & want to achieve more. This goes to the core of our culture/ leadership issues. Which should have stamped out any attitude issues as per Lewis comments. That’s what successful clubs do!

This same group played like spuds in the last game of 2017, laid zero tackles & missed playing finals. Is 2017 relevant??? Stop making excuses for them! Lewis came 3rd B&F in 2017 after winning 4 flags. Who’s the one with the hunger & culture issue???

Either do the other 50k members! Boils down to culture & leadership. When you consider this group failed so poorly in the last game of 2017 to miss finals. Who drives the standards within the group? Who maintains the culture? Are the leaders/captains not responsible to pick up on the attitudes etc???
