Forget smoke screens Freo have been lying. They are liars and not to be trusted. They have been spreading lies regardless of cost to reputations of others. For the life of me I cannot understand why Hogan wants to go there, unless there is something we don't know.

Because the holder of pick 5 at that point may want to use it themselves. Or if they really want it the price could keep going up maybe 8 +13 + who knows what.

Because there would be no value to us trading at that point - can't get May. My understanding (could be wrong) is that player trades will be closed before live trades start.

Freo & Bell are a mess. Do they think that telling lies will help them? Why would Hogan want to go there?

And by the way that would be two first rounders.

According to whom? Is it Freo saying it or Melbourne? It makes a huge difference. And to the poster that said Freo were not interested in Hogan phhht!

I'm starting to think "trade week" should be stretched to beyond two weeks to two months for some clubs and reduced to one day for others all culminating on the same day. That way we will get the same result but Freo will have a much bigger hotel bill to put in their soft cap. And Melbourne can turn up on the last day and pop through a few quick deals.
