We can match the offer

Farewell Jesse Hogan
I once had a collectable car, I had a guy pester me for years to buy it, but wouldn't make an offer. Finally he offered me $2000. 30 years later that car is worth over $250000. I didn't bother to call him back. I think he missed out because he couldn't see what he was looking at and was too greedy. They had 6

Hello Josh, Peter Bell here just wondering what you think of our offer. ....Josh, Josh..are you there Josh..... (in the background. Who is it Josh. Just some insignificant time waster from Freo.

Imagine what Hogan is thinking. Fremantle really don't rate me. If they did they would make a realistic offer.

Rumour File
Rumour, Peter Bell & Fremantle FC are oxygen thieves, and are not worthy of being in the AFL. Ban them from next years trade period for constipating trades. Found guilty of bringing the game into disrepute and being total fwits.

Official New Rule Changes for 2019
I think this means if no one nominates you don't have a ruckman for that contest. Edit: I like the new ruck rule regarding taking the ball from the ruck is not prior opportunity. More snapped goals from Max at boundary throw ins a la Schwarta.

So in future when you say something is a "fact" we should read "Demons1858 makes stuff up" as you do not back up what you say. Why state something as a fact when you have no idea?

Farewell Jesse Hogan
As I said before this years first pick would have been 16. Show me how it is a FACT that we could do the trade for May without trading Hogan. Feigning boredom suggests it was not a fact but speculation on your behalf.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
OK master trader tell me how if we didn't trade this years first for Lever we could do the deal for May without trading Hogan.
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
So it's not a fact but speculation on your behalf. Edit:- We would have tips 16 -36 -46 yes that would get it done, I think not.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
So are you saying GCS would take pick 16 for May? Don't let the facts get in the way.

Febes, I think Freo is filled with echinoderms & cnidarians so I see no risk of them being fried.

Hey Jesse, Freo obviously don't value you. Otherwise they would make a fair offer for you. All the promises they have made over the years, and now they value at less than May (an unloved full back). Why would you ever want to go there. Lyon is not a popular coach. The club is in dissaray and they are the 3rd worst scoring side in the AFL. Perhaps it is time to commit to the highest scoring side in the AFL with a popular coach at a great club that finished top 4 without you. If you really want to go home, tell Freo to make a fair offer or you will never come to them.

Full back bad influence (according to some) full forward injured, Carlton could totally implode and ask for and receive priority picks. They won 1 less game than Stkilda so 15 is a very reasonable guess. Bris- Stk - Carlton lose free agents then GCS could get pick 8 as compo. They could have a good year other sides may crash. 3/4 is likely compensation but in no way is it a lock.
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
Why does everyone accept that GCS will get compensation pick 3/4 next year? What if they finish 9th and the bottom 8 sides lose free agents? Their fist pick could be around 17. They have no way of knowing what the compensation may be. 11 this year could be better than the unknown.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
What if they win the flag next year? AFL compo pick no better than pick 19, do your research.
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
And if they win the flag pick 19. So GCS are gambling that they will be worse next year? A bird in the hand.

Some desirable outcomes are better than other desirable outcomes. One mans Natalie Portman is anothers Scarlett Johannsen. A good outcome is preferable to a bad outcome, there can be many desirable outcomes. The trick is we don't want to wake up with Uncle Bitters.

I(Freo) want to buy your house. If I offer a low price you tell me no thanks, I offer a fair price you may accept, I offer a very good (high) price you accept. I(Melb) want to sell my house. I offer to sell at a high price you reject, I offer a fair price you may accept. I offer a low price you accept. Being an eager buyer usually pushes price up, being an eager seller usually pushes a price down.
