  1. I like it.
  2. Yeah I don't like either of them as footballers, and call for Tyson to be dropped most weeks. Nothing new. I can't like them all.
  3. Whether Ablett jr deliberately pushed Martin into it hasn't been spoken about at all, but it was the first thing I thought of when I watched the incident live, and I say that as a very big G.Ablett fan. The momentum of the push gave Martin little time to brace for impact, or even be aware of incoming Steven May. The thing that won't help May out is that his intention seemed pretty clear - to hip and shoulder Martin. May could've went the ball, he chose to go the man. 1-2 weeks in the recent past, 5-6 weeks in today's game.
  4. 6 - Watts. 5 - Gawn. 4 - N. Jones. 3 - Viney. 2 - Wagner. 1 - Pederson.
  5. Whoever misses out will be stiff anyway, I just doubt they'll drop Hunt after he performed on debut. If he can do that on debut, not only should he be rewarded with his spot (and I expect he will be), but he should could very well improve next week. I think Oliver could be effective against Richmond on the inside. If I was choose who to leave out atm, I would leave out Frost and Brayshaw. I know Frost adds something different to our side, but I'm still not convinced about him, and Brayshaw still looks short of a run IMO.
  6. Yeah he was very impressive today, he seems to have a very good read on the game. Like an old head. He doesn't panic down back.
  7. I always thought Watts would come good, but in the end, I think it was more hope. The sky is the limit for Jack. He was an exceptional junior, and as an elite AFL player he holds a lot of advantages over most players. He is very poised, great skills, calm head, elite execution. Not many weaknesses. Good on him, he deserves it.
  8. I don't know who is in or out, but I do think Lumumba and Tyson hold onto the footy that half a second too long. At some stage I would like to see one of them get a rest, even if it isn't VFL, it messes with our flow. I would drop Brayshaw back to the VFL purely for fitness reasons, still looks unfit, and could do with a full game on the ball. Likely INS for me would be: ANB, Vince, Garlett. OUT: Tyson, Lumumba or Frost/Brayshaw. Petracca will need another few weeks in the VFL, as will Trengove.
  9. Hopefully we've ended Nathan Buckley's coaching career as well. That would be the icing on the cake.
  10. This should be re-named the Wagner apology thread. For all those who were running him down last week.
  11. Wagner has been exceptional. Hunt's pressure and pace is something different for us. I like it.
  12. Brayshaw is tough, that would've knocked most blokes out cold.
  13. Hahaha, they just made a Demonlike mistake.
  14. Jones has played well. Viney got some vital clearances in that second quarter.
  15. Jones has played well. Viney got some vital clearances in that second quarter.
  16. Hogan is a gun down back. I remember watching him for WA and just assumed he was a back man. I was surprised when he came out and started dominating up forward for us. If he plays down back, he is our best back man, I have no doubt about that. Of course I would prefer him up forward, but it was a good move to shift him back in that quarter, and it is a good ace to have up the sleeve. Watts and Hogan can swing position and swing games.
  17. Thank [censored] for Jack Watts.
  18. We are playing Collingwood back into this. They are very average. We were good for a quarter (like usual).
  19. Get Salem in the middle. Get Tyson out of there.
  20. Young Charlie Curnow is going to be some player. The way some youngsters move you can just tell they have it. The 'it' factor. Cripps has it, Oliver has it. Lynch, Hogan and Cameron have it. Curnow has it.
  21. Geez Patrick Cripps is good. He is a level above these players. Just stiff that he is playing in the 'better be safe than sorry era'. I have both Cripps and Viney in my supercoach, and they both get penalised for playing tough, uncompromising football. Just goes to show how much the game has changed.
  22. Tom Lynch is the best forward in the game right now.
  23. Nah, but he has been in my supercoach from day 1. To my eye, he is playing very well and would be polling. He'll be hard to beat from here on in (providing he doesn't get injured).
  24. Ellis, Lennon and Grigg can play. The Grigg trade was a masterstroke, and one of the rare wins for the Tigers, they offloaded Collins for him - who isn't even in the system anymore. He was useless. Grigg can play. Lennon has had limited opportunities, I think he'll be a player. Corey Ellis is going to need time to develop, he is actually their best bet of finding a quality inside mid. He is an inside mid, he just hasn't developed enough physically to play that role.
  25. Middymalt.
