I think Hawthorn are still a class side (on their night). A few handy additions tonight. But, give the Crows time. I still think its hard to beat them over there. We have managed to do it more than most. But we have had to play damn good football to do so.

I mentioned a couple of years ago Salem being as hard as Jack Viney. He is. Always was. Just that Salem didn't have the body for it - so we played him down back where he could use his outside game. Now Salem is maturing we are starting to see his inside game. I have always believed he has a better inside - than outside - game. He is see ball get ball, a good tackler, and has great hands on the inside of a contest. I watched him as a junior. We ain't seen nothing yet IMO.

He deserves it, and he should be ready. I feel there are no excuses anymore. At least this kid will be able to look back knowing that he had every opportunity. I still feel as though he has plenty to offer. I have been keeping an eye on his stats in the VFL, and his DE (with I think is disposal efficiency, but could be effectiveness) is usually very good, and that is an area we aren't so great at as a team. So I think Trengove has something to offer our team. If he managed to get back anywhere near his best it would be a massive bonus. He was the best junior I have seen on our list - closely followed by Petracca.

Could be both. Max Gawn can play forward or back. With Hogan out we may use Gawn more forward. But in the past he has been effective down back also. Could swap with either Pederson or McDonald. Depending on where he can have the biggest impact.

Hannan was a smart pick. I watched him last year and thought he was up to AFL level. Taylor seems to be one of the better scouts out there. Hopefully he can get us a quality junior. Just keep our stocks replenished. It would be good if we could land a Fyfe/Cripps type player with a first or second round pick. It would just be a massive bonus on top of an already promising list.

I thought it was pretty subtle really. He knew JJ had pressure on him - as he didn't have a great game last week. Bugg just heaped a little more on JJ. I don't see anything particularly shameful about it. It was a good ploy. Bugg clearly revels in it.

In: Gawn, JKH, BenKen, White. Out: Watts, Jones, Vince, ANB.

He doesn't fit. Even if he did he is staying in Adelaide. Said that other week on air that he is just waiting for CBA to be announced. I have seen a lot of players say one thing to the media and do the opposite, but if Lever is one of them then perhaps he should go into acting. He was straightforward about his intentions of remaining a Crow. We have a back line that is growing. We don't need Lever IMO. He would be a luxury.

6, Tom McDonald 5. Pederson 4. Watts 3. Hibberd 2. OMAC. 1. Salem. Oliver stiff and Salem could be higher.

An added bonus is Tom Bugg stirring the pot before the game.

Fitting that Dickson goals when the game is all but over - as he is part their problem today. He has been really soft, steps back, posing, etc. Teams play a player down when guys like that are out that. But more than that, it rubs off on the other guys out there.

I keep my eye on Oliver (in my supercoach) and always have a live bench in front of me. Back on now:)

He looks to be just resting. Has carried us recently, probably just taking a quarter off. He was our best when it counted today.

Vince will be dropped. Biggest certainty of the week. He has been shocking. As a Vince fan I cannot believe it. He is just mid gippsland quality at the moment. Its sad.

Garlett plays well every single week.

Yeah I got him into my supercoach the other week. I can confirm that these performances are becoming common. Part of me does believe he will turn it around, but I have been wrong before. As each week passes I am resigning to the fact that I may have gotten this one wrong.

I hope Daniel can't play this game out.

And moving up the ground and killing it. Kid can just play football.
