NON MFC: Rd 13 2021
If that was indeed holding there would be a free kick given for every second forward 50 entry.

NON MFC: Rd 13 2021
Saints had their chances and blew it, just like we did. That free kick in the goal square thou, was that worse than the deliberate none call in our game? The umpires explanation âyou prevented him from marking? WTF

thereâs some beautyâs Disgraceful. When you think we canât be more putrid we find anew level. What a poor effort Looks like pick 4 in the draft. Letâs hope the club doesnât stuff up that selection Weâre a joke Seriously, why be shocked? We have some of the weakest payers both physically and mentally in the competition. Feel sorry for Steele. He looked so shattered in the end. I tell ya. Itâs much better when you stop giving a s***. I have and honestly, I seriously donât care if they lose. In fact in the last qtr I was willing Adelaide to win. Simply because I donât want any more half arsed, lame,,[censored] poor wins that cover up just what a farkin shambles of a club we are. Root and branch changes required. Until then they can [censored] off.

Too much bath water over Christmas?

The captain and the umpires
He may get a few less Brownlow votes. But that will just bump Clarry and Tracs chances

The captain and the umpires
Iâm sure the umps prefer Gawns sarcastic retorts to Selwoods constant whining.

TEAMS: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
I remember a few posters saying in March this year that if player A,B or C is getting regular games we wonât make finals. Tomlinson got a few mentions along with Nibbler and Spags.

Brayden Maynard
The way Collingwood leaked that the leadership group werenât happy with Trelor is unforgivable. Whether itâs true or not is beside the point. Threw them under the bus!

Neale Daniher on AFL 360
The look on Nealeâs face when Gerard mentions premiership. Stirred up so many emotions in me!! Nearly burst into tears! What a legend!!

Danger period lies ahead ...
Spot on! And adding to that. We havenât been consistent for long enough for bottom teams to fear us. They go into games remembering the Melbourne of the last 2 years. Where as they go into games against Richmond, subconsciously knowing they have little chance. Or going into games against Bulldogs or Brisbane thinking âIf they get a run on. It could get really uglyâ Based on that, I believe weâve been quiet composed and mature in some of those close games this year!

What they're saying at Junction Oval
I thought all of the âwhat theyâre saying...â threads were just for a chuckle. I for one love them. No names were added to the post so it wasnât shaming anyone.

Farewell Sam Weideman
Top post! When we are losing games because Sam is getting out marked and the oppo are strolling down the other end to easy goals. We should get rid of him. But heâs not so just leave it. l was listening to SEN Friday night. Gerald Healy, the biggest Dees detractor, was saying how much he loved Sam, thought heâs going to make it as he contested everything! Watch the replay, second half, without biased. How many goals was Sam involved in.

Farewell Sam Weideman
No team first. Doesnât matter how many he kicks. all that matters is we win!
-
Farewell Sam Weideman
And I should add. we shelve Weid now. You donât cut it! Tmac gets injured say 1 month later, M Brown is also injured...and now we need Weid, who we just told wasnât going cut it.

Farewell Sam Weideman
Awesome questions and the answer is no. At no fault of BBB. Im sure after round 9 the mc decided they wonât work together unless A.B.C happens. BBB went back to VFL to work on a few things. Unfortunately he had 1 chance and it didnât happen for him. Simple, you donât make unforced changes to winning teams! It kills the ethos! Just like backs with Tomlinson, The forward line is one injury away from desperately needing Big Ben. But while we are winning and Weid is at least contesting and bringing the ball to ground. Have Faith!!!

Just S.A. and only against the filth!

GAMEDAY: Rd 12 vs Brisbane
Man up on Lever, Rough up Gawn. Itâs all been done unsuccessfully. Maybe the opposite just need to lower the eyes and stop kicking it to them. Brisbane need to take risks through the middle to win. My main worry is how our team defence stands up without Langdon. Might just have to sacrifice some of the offensive running we got from him. Should be a cracking game!

Shot For Goal Accuracy 2021
Not killing us but 15.6 Adelaide to 14.11 Dees did lose us that game.

What they are saying down at Vulture Street
More from big footy; âNumber of goal kickers for Melbourne round 7 to 11 - 7 5 8 11 8 average 7.8 and for us 9 11 10 9 13. Average 10.4 simply doesnât matter who they shut down, we can still get goals. Them, not so much. might be another night for Mitch and matho to shine.â Matho?? âThey have a very good top 3 as do we, overall looks pretty even, who ever wants it more will get on top. Some possible match ups? > James Madden > Kysaiah Pickett. Harris Andrews > Sam Weideman. Marcus Adams > Tom McDonald. Brandon Starcevich > Bayley Fritsch. LIONS to slay the Demons.â âDogs can be easily rattled with high pressure around the ball, we will thrive in that but need to make sure we donât have a lazy start like we did against the Tigers the week before.â âI'd like us to recognize where Gawn is and kick it to another option where he isn't. I've seen a few of the Melbourne games so far this year & it never ceases to amaze me that he is often at the drop of an opposition kick. Oliver for me is the most dangerous with Petracca close behind. I believe we stop those 3 and we will win.â âAndrews on Weideman. Adams on McDonald. Lester on Fritsch. Starcevich on Pickett. McStay to play a defensive forward role on Lever - stop him from intercepting marks.â âLangdon is a big out for them.Wins a lot of ball and provides a great run around the ground. I wouldn't risk Neale, with the bye coming up give him that extra couple weeks rest. We can afford to rest him another week winning 7 straight.â âThe one side who were able to beat Melbourne this year, did so by taking the game on through the middle of the ground and using their run and handball game to break run through the zone. I don't think we have the personnel off half back to successfully play a similar way. I suspect we're going to rely on Rich and Birchall hitting up a player in the middle of the zone to break it up, or continue to go down the line and hope we at least 50/50 the contest.â

I donât do realistic till game day!

Max Gawn on RSN (1/6/21)
As an interstate member. 1 rule. Never travel on game day!! (Except night games)

Why Can't Sam Complete his Marks?
It would be more concerning if he was getting outmarked by his opponent. Iâm sure itâs confidence. Tmac, Weid, Fritta, Dogga and Max need to spend more games together. Besides Max who only spends short stints in the forward line. There doesnât seem to be a clear leader, unlike the backline, May and Lever. I just think theyâll need an extended run at it altogether. Hopefully we donât get any injuries!
