So true, as supporters we see half arsed efforts from Melk as the ball goes out. But possibly his job is to be looking for space for the Next attacking chain when our defence intercept. He is one of our best deliveries inside 50. Long kick (especially when he plays on, runs 10 kicks 60 which stops teams pushing the defence up) can keep it low and usually puts it to the advantage of the forward.

As an interstate member, I’m reluctant to fly to games because of lockdown/isolation uncertainty. I can’t afford to take 2 weeks off work if vic has an outbreak and I have to isolate on return. The 2 Anzac eve games I went 2 were 70/30 Rich/Melb. So I’d say a lot Richmond supporters staying home.

I’m calling rubbish on Tmac being on big $. I don’t know for fact, but here are some rock solid facts; He signed at the end of 2017 not 2018 when he had a massive year. Players generally get smaller salaries for longer term deals, like 4 year deals. Jordan Lewis had been at the club for a year and was encouraging all the players to take a little less coin so they could keep a good team together. That’s what they did at Hawthorn. Big salary BS. Someone said it and everyone is running with it.

Smashing North in 87 was special! My cheeks hurt by the end of the game from too much smiling and laughing. Beating Carlton in the prelim the year after was the best!!
