AFLW: Rd 5 vs GWS
We need North to beat Adelaide and Bulldogs to beat Freo tomorrow. Of course we have to beat GWS. Which would put us in equal second in conference A. But did the AFL decide that the GF was top of conference A vs top of conference B? Or have they changed their mind now that the leader in conference B is only on the same wins as bottom of the ladder in conference A. Which ever way you look at it, Dill has stuffed this one up right royally. ...just make the season 2 weeks longer Dill.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
I didn't say he had NFI, I'm talking about anyone who thinks Hogan should just get on with it and act like a professional as his getting paid so much money ect ect. Majority of his post was excellent but he started his very 1st post with "mark my words", screams of old poster RR / ETD.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Sorry but Steve is already right on this one. Hogans work while at the MFC is proof he was a hard working professional. Add going down to the Holden centre nearly every day by himself to work on his goal kicking and going to watch other AFL games to study how other forwards worked. He may well fall off the cliff but who would blame him. Only people with NFI.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
A few good games early in the season, a couple of 5+ goal games, then a Range Rover / enter the dragon reincarnation, stirring up all the chicken little's about how we were robbed. 50+ pages easy.

2019 Fixture
I went to the game in 2016 as well, what a cracker that was! Out scored 8 goals to 2 in the first only to fight back and kick 9 goals to their 2 in the second. Tough game after that, if only Buggs kick to Billy at the death was better, that would have been a famous victory! Sat in the David Boon stand for that game, but the sun was in our eyes for nearly the entire game. Hence the switch for the 2017 game. But the sun never came out on that bleak day. The lines for the toilets and food/beer were good in 2016. I think the Ricky Ponting stand will be the go next year.

2019 Fixture
Maybe someone who is savvy to the financal aspect could give you a correct answer... but seeing as you asked, Collingwood would pass on some hot car stereos and PlayStations to the MFC in return for their members entry. Wouldn't be many pies fans who could afford a full membership let alone home and away membership anyway. If you don't want to give the filth any of your hard earned, stay home and watch it on free to air every 2nd year.

2019 Fixture
It was a shocking day for me too, made the 9hr round trip from the nth west. We should have won but couldn't kick straight in the last and made some horrendous errors. Overall game, C grade at best. Sat near the cheer squad, ground level. Shocking viewing. Anyone planning on going next year avoid that area. Bloke behind me spent the entire first half bagging Don Tyson. Food and toilet cues ridiculous. All that said, I'm looking forward to doing it all again in 2019!! Sitting in the stands.

2019 Fixture
I don't understand people being upset about QB. The home game should have always been rotated. Maguire could have easily been saying he didn't want to play QB against Melbourne. As we've been a rubbish side for the last decade.

2019 Fixture
Don't want to detract from the huge Cats vs Hawks game so best with a late start, against Freo, in Perth.

2019 Fixture
True MFCSS would claim Richmond play on the Saturday and Melbourne get the special new Easter Monday twilight spot.

2019 Fixture

2019 Fixture
Drug cheats round 1 fixture for the last decade (I know they should be grateful to even get a game) Port Adelaide vs Essendon 2009 Essendon vs Geelong 2010 Essendon vs Western Bulldogs 2011 North Melbourne vs Essendon 2012 Adeliade vs Essendon 2013 North Melbourne vs Essendon 2014 Sydney vs Essendon 2015 Gold Coast vs Essendon 2016 Essendon vs Hawthorn 2017 Essendon vs Adelaide 2018 5 interstate games in 11 years, 2 big vic clubs, and the rest rubbish. It must be the only exception to the squeaky wheel rule.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Funny that a large portion of Freo supporters are moaning how they paid overs for Hogan yet only a very small portion of Dee's supporters are winging we got unders.

Recruiting a 3rd tall forward to find another 50 goals?
Only 23, learning from the best and Max obviously gets along well with him. Based on his AFLX comment. We might have a big win.

Recruiting a 3rd tall forward to find another 50 goals?
Way overs, your not suggesting Josh should bend over again?

Farewell Jesse Hogan
In the last quarter when Gunston got that free for taking out the legs, when they were coming hard at us. He missed the shot but up in the Olympic stand it looked like it went through. A couple of Hawks supporters in front of us jumped up and celebrated turning around really trying to rub all the Melbourne supporters noses in it. You think by the silence they would have worked out that he missed but no they were just loving being complete [censored]. I even had time to say to my sister, "wonder when someone will tell them that he missed" her reply "Let them go, this is Gold" ????

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Bennell was always a risk, injury issues and his other issues were pretty public, even one of his family said it would be a mistake for him to return to WA. Nothing comparable to Jesse. Just crap from Watson.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
On one hand you have Goodwin and Mahoney who stays tight lipped and gets deals done to get the players we chase. Or you get Ross the Boss and Bell do everything I can to make a [censored] out of myself. WA would have to be losing some shine.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
1 example of this was the Port Game. In the last quarter on the wing Jesse went a 1 handed marking attempt. He got a good piece of it so as a marking option should have gone both hands and clunked it. Can't remember whether the ball was turned over or went out of bounds but the next disposal after that was a port kick down the line and a mark to Westoff and a 60m penalty which he slotted and stole the lead. It just wasn't good enough of an effort, especially at that critical stage in the game.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Spot on, and add to this: They pull out of the trade, then rumours circulate that Jesse is damaged goods. No S#!@ Sherlock, losing a parent at that age, especially when you have a close knit family, will "damage" a person. (Speaking from person experience) Also if Jesse is the different cat, introverted bloke that people say. Well I'm sure his going to feel right at home at Freo now!! Bunch of morons.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Club would know by now. If he's staying we'll know soon. If leaving they will work a deal with Freo before announcing anything. Freo don't have the currency to do a deal yet. They have to do Neale trade 1st then maybe pick swaps with Port before we even start negotiating. If he's leaving trade won't get done today.
