  1. Post it on social media mate and tagged all the media outlet pages. Thats the only way you get attention on issues these days. [censored]. The AFL have a narrative and we are bent over again
  2. The club must be real strong on this. Back our boy. Get the facts out. He called him a ducking diving [censored] or whatever he said, Clarrie has had enough. He has been trolled online. Smacked by the media. He needs support from Goodwin. This peanut should be the one copping flack. Let's flip the script MFC
  3. I urge all Landers to email the club this week and raise the clash jumper issue on social media or via talk back. It's a joke. Has been for years. The AFL makes the call on jumpers. .not the club. I want answers
  4. Side note....why are we wearing white? What's wrong with red backs? Collingwood and Carlton wore hone jumpers when they played. Money talks I guess. Farce. AFL policy on the run
  5. Yes he was in Byron for 24 hours, supposedly for a shoot for his boardies. I don't mind, but given his injury and the importance of getting right, I think it's unusual. Please don't think I am saying that footy players shouldn't have a life outside of football, I am all for it..but right now, his focus should be rehab. I would have thought sitting cramped up in a plane seat at altitude isn't on the doctors advice.
  6. Clearly off his lemon spread. Citing old players and rival clubs slogans. One of the more bizarre posts
  7. That''s a relief. Must be posting old material he has been sitting on
  8. Anyone who follows Watts on instagram find it strange that he appears to be posting videos from Queensland or Bali (hard to tell) where he appears to be doing work on his boardshorts label. .has he taken some leave while injured
  9. Must bring in a tall target this week. Not a makeshift. Cannot rely on swinging players into the FF role at different stages. When we won a rare clearance last week, our first instincts were to bomb long, often to 3 on 1. Easy to pick off. Easy to set up against. Predicatable. Our strength was our ability to move the contested ball in a rolling maul like set up. Series of handball in close. That has been taken away. We are too many down in the mids. Need to adjust
  10. Absolute garbage. Look like a team with no cohesion. Which you can probably understand
  11. Haven't seen one bloke put a hand up yet. Kent the most likely and Ben Ken. Trengove striggling. JKH has had a patchy game so far
  12. Watching Trengove at Port Melbourne as we speak, he is cooked. Noway he can keep up at AFL level. Tagging their number 7, who is lighting it up. Sad
  13. This...that was so bloody pathetic ..I can forgive the dropped mark and the shocking kick, but when he didn't chase, I sat there and thought, stuff this bloke. If you can't be bothered then pizz off back to Casey for the year
  14. Living up to our reputation of fair weathered supporters ..bugger all here. Pathetic
  15. I am staggered at the suggestion of bringing in JKH for Jones. I don't think you could find two more different players. What does JKH offer? Be honest...he isn't as fast as what people think...he drops easy chest marks...makes horrendous decisions with his ball use and ...and... is one of the great squibs I have seen run out for our team. Right up there with Cale Morton. This is a super important game, and this bloke has shown several times that he doesn't have the work ethic and a committed attitude to cut it at AFL level. It's a massive NO from me. Rather get Wagner in and release Lewis or Vince into the middle to scrap and fight like Jones does.
  16. Insecure? I just think it's odd that he suggested that he wouldn't care if he played with Melbourne or not. Seemed an odd comment.
  17. I know we are getting way ahead of ourselves, but it would be the most dissapointing thing to see, if we had to wear that training singlet in any final. There is a way around it, and that way is to copy the red back but to make it WHITE. The front stays the same. If I were the MFC, I would be getting NB to start knocking them up now.
  18. I didn't like Max suggesting he'd like to play for another team, besides Melbourne..panel challenged him on it. Poor comment. Not well thought out
  19. I really think the club needs to think about doing away with the current white one...HUGE hypothetical. .but if we were asked to wear that in a Grand Final, how would you feel? Like others said, the red Vs Dogs oozed great, I don't know why we don't just do the same with a white back. There are your three clash strips. Better get to it MFC, we need to be ready to wear a white Jersey if we happen to play Adelaide, GWS, Essendon in this year's Grand Final
  20. Teah, nah...don't give up ya day job.
  21. The second half was fantastic. It stared with the skipper, Jones, who started us going with his goal. Jeff was sensational. I thought Harmes was our best inclusion this week. He takes good overhead marks and actually works to lock the ball in the forward 50. Lewis balanced the back line and directed the young blokes. Hibberd is a terrific kick and a great reader of the play. Joy to watch. While he didn't play a major role, I thought Nibbler was great for us in the last quarter. Oliver in close and his release handballs were, dare I say, elite. Oscar McDonald is the worst skilled footballer in the league. I know everyone hangs it on him, but it's the absolute truth he has zero ability to hit a target by foot. It's a disgrace. As soon as we have a KPF Tom goes back and he goes out. It cant be tolerated. If we make a final, he will cost us in a big way with one of his diabolic turnovers. He seriously thinks 3 seconds slower than anyone else on the field
  22. Thanks. Not bad. Just a side point though. 6 rounds in, how many times have we worn our traditional home strip so far?? 3 out of six? I can think of four different jumpers we have worn this season and it's Rd 7.
  23. Singapore is one country where i'd look at hosting a game. They love getting on board events held in their country. It's so small that the whole country gets behind it. They have a fantastic new indoor stadium that could host AFL. Plenty of ex pats. Only 7 hours from Melbourne. Clean. Safe. The national football team wears red and blue.
