Thought Jones was great today. I was there and his effort was palpable. 6 - Jamar 5 - Moloney 4 - Jones 3 - Bartram 2 - Bate 1 - Garland
-
Yes and that's why I use it.
-
Dunn's stocks are always highest when he isn't in our squad. I know we have to be optimistic but I am doubtful of Dunn turning a corner years down the track like, for example, a big Russian has this year. We are looking for solutions for our forward line but if the coaching staff can successfully address our inconsistent application to games than Bate, Wonna, Sylvia and co. will start kicking goals and we can stop the grass is greener [censored].

I was referring to our fast run and carry through the corridor and high pressure in contested situations. Heaven forbid you disagree with my use of a perfect example of our game plan working.
-
Plan A should be bring in Jordie McKenzie. Plan B should be our regular, ie. vs Brisbane, game plan.
-
I don't necessarily agree with Swampfox, but since Davey became our leading 'playmaker', we have not won a single game when he is on the angry pills. When I saw him give away that free yesterday on the wing, about two minutes into the game, I knew where the game was heading. He is allergic to niggling taggers and the whole team comes down with him.

I am the opposite of a Bruce fan, but he was our best IMO. 6. Bruce 5. Gus Berts 4. Morton 3. Green 2. Jamar 1. Jones
-
Frawley by a long long way and I'll get the website into trouble if I say why. We made the right choice (off field stuff).
-
McDonald? Thought he had an average one. Thought Green, Frawley, Davey, Gysberts, Bartram were clear best 5 and raffle for another, be it Miller or Jamar.
-
I'd take the rumours flying around about who the St Kilda player is with a grain of salt. (EDIT I love this site too much)
-
Tough week for rankings: 6- James McDonald 5 - Brad Green 4 - Mark Jamar 3 - Jamie Bennell 2 - Jack Trengove 1 - Neville Jetta
-
Finally! JMAC and Frawley a clear 1 and 2 for mine. Grimes is a strange one. He is a beautiful disposer of the ball except for about every fourth or fifth disposal, which is a completely shocking clanger. Still love him though.
-
We don't all know this. Bennell has been very good off the flank this year, and because Maric has done nothing and Aussie can never get on the park, Bennell will stay there.
-
Bulldogs played very poorly. Were very flat as were Collingwood in Round 2. It will be a new achievement when we beat a club that actually comes to play. We did as well as we could have with 21 players (PJ is a witches hat) and no-forward line though.
-
That 'non-decision' was incredibly frustrating. There is a f**king rule, they have read it. Pay it.
-
I've gone: 6- Scully 5- Grimes 4 - Warnock 3 - Trengove 2 - Bate 1 - Bruce Jones turned it over A LOT, fantastic endeavour though. edit Slotted Bruce in, he was great.
-
THat's a myth. It was one game, and Hall had been in great form before it. He kicked 2.4, and if it had been 6, this rot would not have started. Miller did an average job that night.
-
Jamar, Martin, Warnock, Rivers. 4 guys (some understandably; Jamar) who add nothing to 90% of general play. It's hard to play a running game with them all in the side.
-
Thought everyone was putrid except Davey who kept hitting targets, Jones, Bartram, J-Mac, Dunn and Green. Grimes and Bruce were above average. Enough slaps; some sledges: Martin, Rivers, Joel Mac (how many times do you want to kick into the man on the mark) and Ricky 'Russell Robertson' Petterd, who doesn't like chasing. I am confident of a much better performance next week though.
-
Good news for us. Also their pinch hitting forwards (Clark, Luey) won't be suited to the conditions at all. Our small, quick forward line will work in our favour. Lets smash em and get in the 8.
-
A number one pick has a poor attitude to footy? Maybe in 1997, but not these days. Just another ridiculous fabrication in line with the other rot you see on D'land where 'a mate' or 'family friend' is sure of this or that.
-
Probably good that Frawley got a big wake up call. He has a very big task next week and must give his all.
-
Err, I hate going first . . . But I thought it was 6. McDonald 5. Sylvia 4. Moloney 3. MacDonald 2. Jamar 1. Bail Apologies to lots.
-
It is their grand final, but their team is incredibly second rate. Their good defenders got suspended by the club, and our back 6 will monster their 'Craig Cameron height' forwards (to borrow an idea from Freak). Bartram, in good form should quell Cotchin or Deledio - guys completely inept at dominating whilst tagged. James McDonald will lead from the front again and we will tackle the sam hell out of them. Sylvia is back, and we won't be flooded like last week vs Adelaide, so Newton, Ricky and Dunn will have much more space and freedom. Interested to see Jack Trengove this week, I'd like to see him grab the game by the throat.

Today's 'next 6': Warnock over Moloney, Bruce, Ricky. Also I'll be staggered if Gawn is good in 2 years time, look at the Russian and Sandilands. Took 5-7 years to unleash their fury. I think Aaron Davey is our best player by so far it isn't funny, so I am glad he is in both yours.
