Max was obviously struggling towards the end of the final series and he was worked over by the Lycett/Vardy combo. I think this will happen a bit next year by other sides thus we will need at times to play 2 genuine rucks. Not to mention what could happen if Max is injured. Preuss is priority 1 IMO.

Must go by whatever means: Garlett, Bugg, McKenna, King, Flipper, Tyson, Pederson, JKH. Uncertain about Maynard, Tim Smith and Dion Johnstone. Gorne - Vince and Balic Must get Preuss

I don’t know how more emphatic the club can be about Hogan not being traded. While I think Weed is an exciting prospect he really has only had the one dominant performance. Hogan is still number 1 IMO.

We are so vulnerable if Max goes down or burns out. It would be a common sense decision to pursue him.

Hard not to be Old Dee if you have been a Dee supporter for as long as both of us have been.

I think Goodwin has a pretty good record for telling it as it is.

I take Goodwin at face value and believe what he said On the Couch that Hogan is going nowhere.

I was going on what the Freo Medical report to the tribunal said that he would require years of dental work. So it’s not just the cost of the implants. I’m not sure about the detail. Safe to say it will be very costly.

You know what insurers are like they’ll only fork out for the bare minimum and not necessarily the ongoing costs.

I reckon Gaff and/or Methcoast should bear financial responsibility for the many years of dental work to follow - could easily be more than $100,000 for implants and the like.

Gaff is genuinely hurting and remorseful - Methcoast and Simpson on the other hand have been an absolute disgrace implying provocation and it being an accident. Disgusting performance by them.

He swung a punch spontaneously- he wouldn’t have had time to think about where it may have landed. A poor defence. The fact that landed where it did and caused the damage that it did makes him culpable whatever the supposed intention. He has forfeited the right to play again this year - but I hope he is allowed to move on after he’s served his time.
