  1. I reckon Gaff and/or Methcoast should bear financial responsibility for the many years of dental work to follow - could easily be more than $100,000 for implants and the like.
  2. Gaff is genuinely hurting and remorseful - Methcoast and Simpson on the other hand have been an absolute disgrace implying provocation and it being an accident. Disgusting performance by them.
  3. He swung a punch spontaneously- he wouldn’t have had time to think about where it may have landed. A poor defence. The fact that landed where it did and caused the damage that it did makes him culpable whatever the supposed intention. He has forfeited the right to play again this year - but I hope he is allowed to move on after he’s served his time.
  4. Would love to have them both.
  5. Probably floating high on the good oil!
  6. That’s him. He went on to become a doctor
  7. You’ve got to love Lethal calling for police involvement. Wonder if there is a statute of limitations of the McMullin incident?
  8. Gaff was so obviously in shock after it happened that I doubt he has any understanding of how and why it happened. Purely a subconscious reflex act but no excusing it and requires a big penalty. Chances are he was not in a good mental space going into the game and snapped and I hope he seeks help.
  9. I think the outrage is because the victim is 18 and the damage done so severe. Not being able to eat solids for a month and 4 displaced teeth. It was a very forceful hit. I wonder if he was wearing a mouth guard.
  10. and a back up ruck for Max
  11. I think Gaff will struggle to move on from this. Buyer beware now.
  12. For us it’s darkest before more dark.
  13. We need to secure Gus before worrying about anyone else.
  14. He needs to shave his palms and get some glasses
  15. Loathed him as a player because of his sniping and he continues to do it as a commentator. Dumb as dog doodoo
  16. It’s great to have 2 newbies in Spargo and Fritsch that know how to use the ball. Because of that they don’t have to have a zillion possessions to impact. Spargo seems very focussed, concentrates and doesn’t go in for extravagant celebrations. Love watching Charlie and Bayley play. Great recruiting
  17. My bad. The Alzheimer’s is playing up. I’ll take an extra dose of aricept. But you get my drift - stupid losses may well cost us dearly.
  18. I think our loss to St Kilda will bite us on the arse like the loss to Carlscum did last year. The saving grace is our percentage.
  19. Last time I watched him play he looked lost and lazy - and very slow
  20. A damning analysis. There should be some very sore backsides from firmly planted boots at training this week. And the Club wonders why we get criticised for getting ahead of ourselves. Wake up Demons.
  21. You jest. I hope.
  22. From his presser. “ This was a little bump along the way. “ FMD!
  23. It’s a great opportunity for us to learn as a club. Blah blah blah
  24. He won’t go anywhere. Eddie will put a horses head in his sisters bed.
