Round 1 team 2019
If Preuss came in I think Vanders may miss out. Hannan is more versatile and a bit more polished with his ball use.

Round 1 team 2019
Jetta. May. Hibberd Salem OMac Hore KK Brayshaw Jones Gawn Oliver Viney Trac Weed Melksham Fritter TMac Garlett Harmes Hannan Nibbler Vanders emergencies Preuss Lewis Spargo Frost. Lever is unlikely to be available. Garlett seems to have extracted the digit. There are big wraps on Hore, especially his kicking. Lewis has lost me.

Indeed. Played for the big V with distinction on several occasions.

I think Lewis should step aside. Jetta would be my choice to replace him.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Seems odd. You would have to ask why given the family type atmosphere fostered by Goody and PJ. A bit of reflection by Hoges may be in order. Good old fashioned rationalisation and self justification I would have thought.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
She’d a tear I must confess watching that. His balance, poise and focus on the ball was floweresque. Horrible to think we lost 3 champions way too soon.

Agree re Ingerson, a very underrated fullback. But my favourite would be the late, great Sean White.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
interesting his contract is only for 3 years. Mind you i reckon Ross Lyon is on borrowed time.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
he may be hit by the Ross Lyon reality bus. Why anyone would want to play under him God only knows. It will be interesting to see how it plays out given that there is a story behind Neale wanting out and i believe Fyffe isn't a popular captain.

Goody is obviously impressive face to face and he does seem to be developing a family of committed players and staff which all bodes well for attracting and retaining players and for getting the best out of them. Happy days
