  1. My crack. N.Jones - Captain season personified Grimes - some good & shocking Hogan - ready to explode Salem - loaded with upside !! Watts - time to trade Toumpas - at the crossroads Dawes - worked hard alone Viney - needs composures Frawley - always going elsewhere Trengove - on the trade table - Hope we keep Byrnes - bad club decision Clark - hope the best Tyson- best pick we have had in years McKenzie - MUPPET, MUPPET, MUPPET Dunn - showed leadership & poise Clisby - Gone Kent - something to embrace Blease - selfish , ignorant , delisted Cross - nothing but professional !!! Strauss - not hungry enough Garland - lost his confidence Pedersen - proved me wrong Michie - potential work horse Vince - spark we need Kennedy - Harris - could be anything McDonald - never gave in - decision making needs work Nicholson - not worth insult Riley - will get better Hunt - dont know enough Evans - pay out early Barry - I see something Tapscott - GONE Howe - added string to bow Jamar - beaten most weeks Spencer - DUD Bail - like his workrate M.Jones - not for me Terlich - depth player 2015 Fitzpatrick - wasted his chance in 2014 - Trade Jetta - showed he wants it Georgio - back up is all Harmes - hearing good things King - full preseason please Gawn- work in progress
  2. IN: Jordie McKenzie Interpretation We are Rubbish !! This bloke is a SPUD and IMO is in the top 3 for worst skilled players on an AFL list- behind Nicholson & Evans.
  3. With the announcement of these 3 resigning it spells curtains for the rest who are not yet resigned.
  4. I could see us paying out Evans contract: Jamar, Spencer, McKenzie will all be gone by end of next year.
  5. Be it the first game or the last game it should not matter. Have any of Blease, Strauss, Nicholson knocked down the door to be selected - NO !!! Have they earned the right / deserve the honour to don the club Guernsey one last time - NO No one is interested in any of these rejects because unlike previous years people thought " Its just because they had a dud coach, I'm sure we can make something of them" Not any more we have one of the best coaches in the land and im sure it will now be " If Roos cant make him a footballer or see anything in him , then he must be a bona fide DUD " Goodbye to that lot and throw in Tapscott , Evans & Clisby.
  6. In: Blease, Strauss, Nicholson are you kidding me ???? I understand we have some spuds in the 22 but rewarding any of these blokes ahead of Toumpass , Barry , JKH is insane. Gone the 3 off them and easily forgotten
  7. Bring on next week and the bloody big broom to go through the locker room !!! IN: Riley, JKH , Harmes OUT : Jamaer , Garland , Frawley
  8. Best Casey Scorpions. Pedersen Strauss Rutherford Davis McKenzie Petropoulos only 2 non mfc players in first 18 and 3 of them named in the best. Damming and goes to show that the others have failed the test of wanting to be on the list next year.
  9. Jetta Dunn _?__ Garland(?? Would need to find 2013 form ) McDonald Malceski Vince Jones ___?___ Howe Dawes Salem JKH Hogan O'Keefe Gawn, Tyson , Mitchell Trengove , Kent, Petracca, Watts
  10. I know we have 2 games to go but I don't believe my thoughts on any player will change after 240 minutes of football so here are my 2014 ratings and thoughts: 1 - Jess Hogan - Future of the club , thank god we have his signature. Will probably not see his potential realised at our club due to poor service and we will need to move heaven and earth to keep him beyond this contract. Rating: N/A 2- Nathan Jones - Workhorse captain who gives his all every week. If not the only player who could hold his head high after every game Rating: A+ 3 - Christian Salem -Showed enough in his first season to give some hope , has poise and a neat kick and although never tore up a game should have gained some valuable experience in his first year. Rating: C 4 - Jack Watts - This player seems to polarise our supporters.... IMO he has improved this year and there is no doubt we look better when the ball is in his hands. His lack of urgency, desire and any resemblance of physicality are a blight. He works hard to provide leads that are not rewarded but in a word can be SOFT as butter!!! In a good side he would be a great outside running " Seagull" Is contracted for another 2 years but a trade is not out of the question C. 5 - Jimmy Toumpas - After a by all accounts great pre season, struggled and then cut down through surgery. Is now IMO at the crossroads. Needs to start making some big steps and quicker steps as he looks slow and seems to have lost the confidence in his decision making. Next year is watershed for him, but would not be surprised if his name is bandied around on the trade table. Rating: D 6 - Chris Dawes - A late start to the season really hampered our teams forward line structure but on his returned showed how important he is to us. His tackling and work rate in his first 10 games was exceptional. The weight of numbers and workload ( double teamed consistently , rubbish disposal etc etc )has taken its toll and his form has waned terribly. Will be better with the return of Hogan and some decent delivery from the midfield. Rating C+ 7 - Jack Viney - No one can question his commitment and work ethic however his disposal needs some work over the preseason. A Demonland favourite and future captain trying to carry more than his fair share of the work load . Should look to push into the leadership group next year. Rating C+ 8 - James Frawley - Others may want to comment more than me .... IMO has a been solid switching from defence to forward line . Is more than likely being suited by a number of clubs and for the greater good probably need to go and give us a better chance to rebuild. Has been a great servant of the club and I wish him well Rating: C+ 9 - Jack Trengove - Very similar to Toumpas watershed season bacons in 2015 after a year ruined by foot injury. All of Demonland are praying that the injury was the cause of 2 lack lustre years after a great start to his AFL career. I don't think he will be offered up for trade and hope that a sprint coach is employed to gain some speed. Rating N/A 10 - Shannon Bynes - Retired late season due to injury. Was a value pick in his first year at the club but for the life of me can not understand why he was talked out of retirement to continue in 2014 ?? A failure this year and it annoys me when we could have picked up an Eli Templeton in the rookie draft rather than have him on our list. Rating: F
  11. Deserved to be Booed in my opinion
  12. This kid is something special !! Have a friend who has some dealings with him and he could not speak highly enough of his attitude and work rate. Definitely one to keep an eye on https://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/sport/a/24445219/medal-winner-a-rare-talent/
  13. Surely they are having a lend of us naming Jordie on the extended bench !!! Grimes comes in at the expense of Bail & I would like to see Salem in for Jones.
  14. Good on ya 3183 Dee hopefully you have come in at the right time
  15. No chance - how many coaches have tried with this bloke(& others) if the penny hasn't dropped now it never will
  16. The Kid has one a B&F in 2's has been training the house down for a month and people want him to go to Casey and suffer 3 weeks of rubbish delivery , scoreboard beltings , very little excitement and sarounded by 6 or 7 blokes who know that there careers are finished and don't want to be there. Straight into the team next week for me thanks.
  17. Summed it up quite well the Beats - Evans I can see getting let go and us paying out his existing contract if a trade can not be found. To me that makes at least 8 gone at years end
  18. Hogan In - just putting it out there early
  19. I would bring him straight into the Seniors as the Sub to aim at playing a half. Roos has stated that the remainder of the season" is an extension of our 2015 pre season" why not get Dawes/Pedo/Hogan working together early and working on there leading patterns. It would be a nice experience for his Family to come over to Melbourne watch him run out at the G and get to celebrate and sing the song after the win. They could stay a couple of extra days and then fly back over with the team for the game against WC. Desperate to see the kid play
  20. Any chance of a training report this week Saty ?
  21. I see Blease was suffering " Gastro" on the weekend and didn't play. Seems his game against the Lions gave everyone the Sh*ts including his own body. I will be happy when he is delist, nothing annoys me more than blokes who have the talent and weapons but choose through weakness not to use them. I'm sure his will be a " woe is me " story at the end of the year.
  22. Great work Nev !! Has been super impressive and r5eliable this year. Don't know if we will here about too may more resigning's this year.
  23. Most head to the Vic or Subi but you have to fight for a beer at both those places.
