I love watching David Rodan as goal umpire. Always looks like he's having a blast

Nice to see future Melbourne FF Naughton kick the first goal.
  5. This is pretty close. Wonder if we could go 22 first, 23 first and meek for jacko and 22 or 23 2nd
  6. Answerth for the punch to Nibbler
  7. One of the blokes from Aunty Donna. Killing Heidi (or is it Bachelor girl?)
  8. Hamish Blake and Steve Monaghetti come to mind
  9. Yep, I think watching May kick out is confirmation of this. Left side, point if the square for 21 games, then last night hitting up harmes, short kicks to the right and that absolute bullet to Langdon on the wing.
  10. Does anyone know what happened to Nibbler in the second? Was on the ground spewing his guts up, and channel 7 didn't even bother to replay what happened before it
  11. His skills have improved significantly. Gives us a really different look off half back. Loving it
  12. I don't think so. They have a dearth of tall forwards and rucks, even with Grundy in the team

Chandler and Bedford out of Casey's side. May explain it Does anyone know if the Spencil is back? Jake Spencer named in Casey's side
  15. I agree, Mr Howe. Ed has received exactly what he deserved

Why aren't the Bears players allowed to own a dog? Because they can't hold a lead... I'll see myself out

Shocking call. If he reached for the ball, I'd agree. Lined him up and took him out
  18. North will build their forward line around Larkey. No way they let him leave unless he wants out in a contract year, and even then they should push him to the PSD and draft him again.
  19. Naughton would be the dream. Would happily trade what we get from Freo, plus a 2nd rnd pick for him.

Last year we played GC, WC, Adelaide and Geelong in the final four rounds. Only one of those played finals, and we only just beat them. Things are very different this year, but maybe out fitness levels/loading isn't the problem. Maybe it's just that we are playing top 4 teams
  21. I'm not sure why it would. There is no mechanism for us to keep him if he wants to leave.
  22. The good thing about having Gus in the middle, Harmes forward and Hunt back is they can all legitimately play in different positions. So if the backline needs Gus at any point, we can move Gus back, Harmes to the middle and Hunt can play forward.
  23. I don't hate this but I don't love it either. Grundy has shown he has to play mostly 1st ruck, and Max's goal kicking isn't good enough for him to play predominantly forward. Would also want Collingwood to pay part of his salary
  24. Interestingly, Gus was on a podcast (think it was Dyl Buckley's) where he said he suffered from an awful phobia of talking to people when he was younger. His dad used to put him in uncomfortable positions to make him have to talk to strangers (like purposefully give him the wrong change to buy a paper, ask a stranger the time, those sorts of things). Gus was pretty critical of the approach, even if it's clearly worked.
  25. Why not? We're losing one of ours. We should be pushing for one of the Vic boys. I agree it won't be Brayshaw or Young, but I'd be pushing for Serong.
