So many mixed messages, don't know what to believe. Why would Hawthorn be interested in him, where does he sit on their list? An earlier comment joked about Gunstan but frankly I wouldn't accept much less. Who else would you take on their list?
-
Fox Footy @FOXFOOTY 26m Paul Roos will be on the grill tonight – Mitch Clark, Heretier Lumumba and James Frawley are all on the agenda - #AFL360 @FOXFOOTY
-
Mark Stevens @Stevo7AFL 24m Mitch Clark met with Paul Roos this afternoon .. Get the latest and words with the man himself on @7NewsMelbourne soon
-
He wasn't depressed when he was playing, surely it was the fact he spent 18 months alone in rehab. That would depress anyone and is a completely different environment then with the boys as a part of the team.
-
I reckon the manager has jumped the gun, or both Clark and he have jumped the gun. Interested to hear from Clark himself.
-
Tom Browne @TomBrowne7 24m See @mitchjclark exclusively on @7NewsMelbourne and @Talking_Footy7 . I think @melbournefc will be pleased with what he says Verified Ch 7 Sports Journalist... have we all been jumping at shadows?

Not just interns mate..
-
The 'righto pal' was moving on (and a slight bite back for the i diot implication), the Nate Jones comment was new.
-
Well put.
-
Righto pal. Would be interesting to hear from Nate Jones on this, pretty sure he's good mates with M Clark. Kind of stuck in the middle.
-
Right, ok then. Who would bother setting up a Alex Georgiou parody account...?
-
Funny, but maybe a bit silly by Georgiou given recent reprimand for not using his head.
-
Can I also say if you're one of those crumbs personally attacking Mitch on twitter then regardless of you opinion on this matter you should have a good hard look at yourself. While I agree that his behaviour is enormously selfish, personally attacking someone with depression can be just the trigger the black dog needs.
-
This story is now alllll over twitter and the radio. This is going to get very interesting.
-
We will surely be up for considerable compensation if this is true. Possible sticking point: the contract. If Melbourne simply 'took him on his word' and did not write a clause in his contract, than notwithstanding his appalling behavior, MFC's lawyers have something to answer for. NEVER take anything for granted!

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HERITIER LUMUMBA
watchtheeyes replied to Moonshadow's topic in Melbourne Demons
I know DL and the broader AFL community talk about it all the time, but I just can't see Watts being traded. Internally I reckon the club loves him, certainly that was the impression I got from the B&F and the impression given all season long. -

Malceski, T Mitchell, Lumumba and Petracca would be a good start. Add a fit and hungry trengove to a maturing hogan and I think we've come a long way!

Ridiculous thread.

Can't explain it, fella looks like a nice bloke, but every time I saw him I felt rage. Good footy player, but new most hated player. What a plonker.
-
Agreed, what a deushbag! This is also exactly what King said on 360 last week by the way, maybe their sources aren't as developed as they're leading on. It's the same 'trade who has currency' gambit that has been spoken about repeatedly and is obvious to anyone with half a brain. Everyone is on the table should it realise a better outcome.

Hammy is very different to shoulder (which I think Daniher had). Grimes would've been put through the usual testing and if a hammy isn't 100% then he won't be able to complete it. With a shoulder, you can always fake running and dropping in to pads.
-
If Petracca shows up with a haircut at all similar to Martin's I will personally fly down there, take shearers to his melon and give him a slap across his face for the trouble.
-
I was in the keep camp, and I know there are only 75 odd votes so far, however on the basis of the ongoing chat we see about it I'm shocked 'keep' is winning out here!
-
Geez I'd be surprised if Watts would get Casboult from a team that needs Casboult.
