  1. Did my mcl and walked off too, but the instability was obvious. I can't believe Petracca would've exhibited those symptoms and the doctor told him to try a few turns.. Low grade maybe?
  2. If you do a level 2 or worse acl or mcl then a quick medical examination determines a rupture pretty quickly, there is a lot of instability. If the doctors checked him out and told him to try some turns I'm hopeful that it's not a complete rupture. Then again, who knows.
  3. "Salem doing one on one punching with Rawlings". Been a few comments like this recently, seems pretty clear they're seriously thinking about him off HB.
  4. Whether Saty contributes to the derailing or not is beside the point. It happens, and that is all that matters. I think we all enjoy the training reports so take measures which removes all chance of the derailing occurring. I don't think that's extreme, I think its a completely proportional response to what appears inevitable. Appealing to people's common good is pointless in this, as it is to everything in life.
  5. Just to emphasis my point. This proposed thread would effectively be stand alone, if someone wanted to start a separate training thread where we all take undignified pot shots at each other than they can. So you have: "Moderated Training 9th of February" And: "Training 9th of February" Seems like a solution to me, everybody has what they want.
  6. A suggestion... Perhaps we can have a weekly thread dedicated strictly to Training Q & A. That is to say, a summary of training is put up by whoever is gracious enough to do so and the ONLY comments not removed are direct questions regarding that training session itself. I realise that at first this may place some burden on the already limited time of the wonderful moderators of this site , however this wouldn't be for long as the vandals would quickly be dissuaded. Can I add that it would be the greatest of travesties if someone like TDI/Saty was forced off this site after giving so much of his time and passion to the community. Those reveling in and contributing to his demise should hang their head in shame and hope that their actions don't force a dramatic fall in readers, which to me would seem inevitable.
  7. Hardly bigoted mate, its his opinion. Just move on.
  8. Also stoked by JKH, could be an exciting year for him!
  9. I'm assuming the back half of that list came in very close to eachother, so while I don't like that Tyson and Jetta came in late, it may still not be worth getting concerned about. More disappointed in Kent, Michie and particularly Garland. At this rate, Garland doesn't make my team.. Wrapped for Grimes, excited to see his return to form this year.
  10. Surely Toumpas gets in there over M Jones... Hogan also needs help, and gawn isn't that guy. Wouldn't mind seeing frost included in the team and releasing someone like garland forward?
  11. Totally agree nutbean. All I learnt from the Blease saga is that he wanted it his way or no way at all. If Evans was the same, well then, good luck being successful champ.
  12. And Evans exhales...
  13. Well I reckon they're always having a crack but just haven't had the circumstances to let them succeed, so I wear my scarf & jersey every weekend even if I'm in front of the TV
  14. Boo hiss... Let this thread be one of unbridled optimism, there's been far too few!
  15. The biggest gun at the club is Peter Jackson!!
  16. Absolutely! That is the way you treat players of Jack's stature when they've been injured in service of the club. Not this 'rookie him' rubbish that some have been espousing.
  17. Abhorrent to me. Abhorrent to 95% of DL posters. Abhorrent to the AFLPA, the AFL and any self respecting, contract abiding fan and member or any sporting organisation. And I would bet my bottom dollar, abhorrent to the MFC. Still find it ridiculous that people are still discussing this as if its the 'right thing to do'... I understand its a business, but this would be just like another non-AFL business paying out a contract of a pregnant woman and reinstating her on a reduced, short-term contract purely on the basis that shes pregnant. Just. Wouldn't. Happen.
  18. Think its definitely Viney, but what excites me more is the big unit to his left!
  19. Wow Port were really up on him! http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/sport/afl/forgotten-man-ben-newton-ready-to-step-up-for-power/story-fnia6ojc-1226903795151?nk=ddc33dee75f57d04ca84fdf01f63c12e Excited to watch him play!
  20. And by "contract" I mean "contract".
  21. Because they signed a contract.
  22. I just cannot for the life of me understand how DL is still talking about JT being rookie listed. The forum now talks about it as if its fact. Its bloody fanciful, never going to happen. MFC would be crucified, wake up!!!!
  23. Except this is at odds with what Bernie and Cross said when they came in, and Cross is widely regardless as a fitness fanatic. Maybe its a case of the fittest at each club being just about on par, but the worst at Freo being miles ahead of us - other than Sylvia of course.
  24. Perhaps why they're considering avoiding surgery, which I assume also means the non-surgical option would take longer - the waiting game.
  25. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2014-10-27/trengoves-surgery-call So this is interesting, I wonder what that means in terms of time frames...
