  1. Or Lever for that matter? EDIT: Scrap that, we won't be taking Lever as a Rookie.
  2. Was a fairly limited player really and with Lumumba and Frost coming in, plus T McDonald another year older and Howe acquitting himself capably in defence, I'm not surprised. But as you say, terrific 1 year experience for the fella, and I'm sure he wouldn't regret a thing. Worth asking, could his delisting point to interest in the PSD or DFA markets?
  3. Laverde definitely seems exciting, but his position will come down to the interview. Draft profiles complain that he drifts out of games, we don't want a tall Blease on our hands. Do rate his highlights though.
  4. Can we please hold the hysteria about failing list management until the final list lodgements.. crikey we're quick to criticize.
  5. 2014 Season 1 Casey Scorpions didn’t play. 2 Casey Scorpions didn’t play. 3 VFL Competitive effort and wasn’t afraid to put his head over it. - 4 VFL Best for Casey in development league loss. - 5 VFL Had 30 touches and worked extremely hard in midfield. - 6 VFL Did a decent job on Cockie but suffered a punctured lung. - 7 Lung. 8 Lung. 9 VFL Ran hard in midfield to end with 16 possessions. - 10 VFL Bye. - 11 VFL Bye. - 12 VFL Had a good second half to catch the eye. - 13 VFL Worked hard in close and kicked a nice goal. - 14 VFL Worked hard in midfield to swing the tide Casey’s way. - 15 VFL Battled hard in midfield with 15 possessions. - 16 VFL Did well across half back and provided some run. - 17 VFL Led the way with 31 touches in midfield. Developing well. - 18 VFL Battled hard in midfield and gave some run. - 19 VFL Worked hard in midfield to end with 22 possessions. - 20 VFL Toiler in midfield but was overwhelmed by Port numbers. - 21 VFL Hard worker in midfield but needed to get more ball. - 22 VFL Battled hard in midfield and kicked a goal. Like him.
  6. I do understand that NB and often defend players in that they only have one career and have to make hay while the sun is shining. My comment was a little tongue in cheek, but also an acknowledgment that Jones (the legend) is all to aware of the same things that we speak of.
  7. He was a little too comfortable about Clarke abandoning the club then what I'd like...
  8. Something like: Jetta Frost Garland Dunn McDonald Lumumba Vince Viney Salem Watts Dawes Howe Garlett Hogan JKH Foll: Jamar Jones Tyson Int: Cross Toumpas Michie Kent Emg: Grimes Bail Pedersen I'm sure I've missed something/someone here, but let's start the conversation. Without doubt an improvement.
  9. If Lever can fit in to the 'tall midfielder' role then I'd say Roos would take him, and that very much fits in to the Bontempelli type. Roos often states how reluctant he is to draft talls, so if I had to put $5 on it, I'd say Brayshaw & Lever.
  10. Thats interesting actually, won the Norm Goss Medal in the VFL grand final, now delisted. Would have a look!
  11. Right, so add to the theme. Would you take anyone as a DFA?
  12. Can pay out contracts and looking at existing list there are players there that I'd have over Evans, Mckenzie and several others. For example, who would you prefer, Mckenzie or Clint Jones?
  13. Run with this to start with: http://www.afl.com.au/news/features/retirements-and-delistings
  14. Apparently came to footy late, extremely athletic for a big fella. High ceiling. Not unhappy that we have him, despite the overs.
  15. Let's not turn this thread in to a 'woe is me' 'why did we do that' thread, enough of that happening elsewhere. Anyone else keen to actually put up some names of who they would take in the existing PSD pool?
  16. Petrenko.. used to be known for his forward defensive pressure??
  17. Personally, if StK took Frost then i would've been more than happy with Membrey!
  18. Ok while I strap this paperbag over my mouth, lets move the discussion forward. Who is available in the PSD?
