agree, aussie and morton are making the games worth watching. Grimes is on the long term injury list, when a player is put on there they must miss at least 8 weeks from that point. Its been 2, so that means he has at least 6 and a maximum of the rest of the year if grimes doesnt get better before the years out. I watched the game again on tape tonight and after a big chase aussie pulled up a bit lame and took himself off and the commentators commented that it looked like he may have strained something or maybe it was cramp? any1 heard anything either way?

is their a number of games a rookie can play or can he play the rest of the year ?

As many as he games as he is selected for until Grimes is able to play again.

And I think that means play at any level, so Wona will be back with Sandringham when Grimes is.

Grimes is out for 8, and there is no guarantee he will be fit to go at all this year. Grimes will take at least 3 weeks to hit match fitness, so 11 weeks from now best case scenario for Grimes debut.

Given our run of injuries, I am sure someone else will be placed on the IR list, allowing Aussie to play as many games as he earns.

And as IWAP stated, mid-season retirements. If Neita, White, Yze, Holland do something major, it is lights out Career over. Those boys know if they couldnt make it back to hang it up and allow a kid to carry the torch. And one other thing, if we are 0-12 in 8 weeks,we could see the ol forced retirement (the subtle shove out the door- youth policy).

As long as Aussie works hard Bails will find a way to keep him playing.

    Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock for the final week of training for the 1st to 4th Years until they are joined by the rest of the senior squad for Preseason Training Camp in Mansfield next week.
