Wow!

Th anks guys for your magnificent efforts in getting the pics of the boys and the great report. This is when we appreciate it the most. The off season is so hard for us interstaters and your reports on training keep me going.

Jonesy- wow - 19 and his dedication and fitness so early is fabulous.

Brock - Good to see him up and at it and his attitude is great. I heard the talk with Max Walker in China and I liked what I heard. He will be captain one day I am sure.

Jared - good to see him out on the track although as others have said we need to beef him up so he will be able to return to his best if not better and stand his ground down back.

Good to hear Beamer is back running and hopefully he will be back to his form in his first year with us. Nothing I liked much better than seeing him full steam ahead and then the booming kick in to Neita..gives you a tingle down your spine, it does.

So well done guys and I look forward to many more.

After exams I might be tempted to hit-up another session at Trinity (which is much closer to me), with fellow reporter Coxy in tow if he's around. One question; is 'Trinity' the actual Trinity Grammar School, in the Kew area, or is it their Sports Grounds, near the Veneto Club around Bulleen way?

As a former Trinity Grammarian I can say that it is in fact their sports grounds.

After this coming wednesday I will be an exam free man, consider me locked in for whenever...

Maybe I should bring the running attire and make an attempt at keeping up with Jonesy

It's a shame about bartram not running in the group he has potential to be an elite footballer if he ever get's over this injury. All i can say is he won't be the same as he was on field. :(

That is the ultra ultra ultra pessimistic view.

Well i went to trinity grammer today with my dad who came up from the country, and we got there at 10:38, saw north melbourne training but no melbourne players there

Jones is a freak. Looks like he's hit the gym over the break...imagine this midfield: Jones, McLean, Cotchin, fit and firing Sylvia. BANG. Any sign of Whelan? Will be a handy inclusion into our backline in 2008.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
