Everyone keeps saying "don't trade player X because a new coach might get the best out of him".

The new coach is trading them because he feels that there is more to his trading than keeping him.

Bailey wants to start with a list that has the attributes that he wants, and he'll go to the draft to get that if he has to.

I am further amazed that so many posters back a Coach to get the best of a player when the player does not show any of the basic attributes himself to do so.

People here keep talking of CJ's potential. When has he ever demonstrated any? I have never seen anything in his game to suggest he will make it as a good player, let alone one to cement himself in our starting 22. To the CJ fans out there: When we win the flag in 2010, what position would he play?

If we were offered a 3rd round pick or a promising young player (like Dyson as mooted elsewhere) we'd be mad to not accept it.

Why are we arguing over periphery players, it is utterly pointless.

    Demonland Trackwatchers braved the scorching morning heat to bring you the following observations of Wednesday's preseason training session from Gosch's Paddock.     Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded.     Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was.
