Who does Dunn have to root to get a game?

Would really like some transparency from the MFC as to why they make certain selections, atleast then we wouldn't have to speculate about the conspiracy that we are buffing the Zebra's with players to help qualify for finals and win another VFL premiership. Still can't understand why dunn struggles to get a game and how PJ is running around for Sandringham at the moment.

Dunn is already qualified so there goes that theory.

If you actually looked at his game for Sandy last week you would be far from impressed.

I agree Dunn was ordinary last week but his MFC form was fairly good before being dropped.

Was it any worse than the tripe served up by most the MFC players last week against Port?

Ferguson, Brown, Ward will get the chop

They will play Bode. NO point elevating him otherwise.

They will definately not cut any shining youngsters like Newton, Buckley or Frawley.

Wish Dunn would get a game somehow, playing him up forward. I like him as a 3rd tall up forward. Maybe take Robbo off for the year to get him right, Dunn move into a similar role.

i reckon you might be wrong. i reckon Jamar, Buckley, Bode and Ward will get the chop from the bench named.

i think you have hit the nail on the head about why dunn isnt getting a game.

with neitz, robbo, newton, bate all playing forward dunn would be the 5th tall forward in the side, and thats not gonna happen. he is better being left at sandy where he can try and dominate (which is obviously isnt doing) and apply what he has learnt at AFL level. with miller, holland, carrol, ferguson and frawley in the side as tall backs we are looking pretty top heavy already. add jamar as a possible backup ruckman, there isnt relaly a spot for dunn...

imo he needs to take robbos spot...

I don't understand why anyone would question Buckley.

They love him. They think he is going to be great. Riley thinks he is amazing. The reason he only got named after Neale left.

Riley really rates Bucks and has spoke in the media about how important Buckley and Newton are to the end of 2007, developing two terrific kids for next year. He will not miss another game.

I have no idea why Ferguson's still in the 18. Boggles the mind.

I can understand with Miller, Jamar cause if they play well, ppl may be swayed to keep them or have trade value.

Ferguson's got no trade value whats so ever. At 25, his got the same strength as a 17 y.o solid built KPP. Not too many 17 y.o to match up on every week.

I reckon from the named team Bode will not play and there will be a couple of late withdrawals due to injury; Robbo and Frawley looked a bit proppy last week and i am not sure whether they will play. This will leave Jamar to come in and Ferg, Bucks, Ward and the rest to retain their spot.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
